| hi, I also have a 10 1/2 year old boy that is blessed with a school that helps him tremendously. He cannot play sports because he gets very upset at people doing the wrong thing, cheating, playing dirty, etc. He tends to not be able to handle well that situation. What I do for my son is seeing a specialist for Neurofeedback. That redirects the brain receptors, etc. that aren't there and trains the brain to function properly, instead of treating the symptons it helps solve the problem. ALSO something that is very very great is called ALPHA-STIM SCS (stress control system) go to www.alpha-stim.com Little electric pulses, attached to his earlobes for 20 minutes, will calm him. 3 or 4 times a week is wonderful. There is a portable one you can buy. I go to Dr Larry Hall in South Burlington VT for Neurofeedback, I could purchase one for around $300. Another wonderful thing for your son is LUMOSITY.COM, it is a brain game, working on memory, attention, etc. Doctor wants him to do that 4 plus times a week. We also see a chiropractor once a week.
