| I am a 22 year old male, I just recently started experimenting with Adderall XR 30mg. The first day taking them i felt like i was a ghost watching my body walk and do normal tasks, while i float around myself,lol. After waking up the next morning and taking the adderall again, i felt more energtic and find myself sitting down and reading more. i believe i have had some weird side effects the first time taking them, 1.) after a few hours i felt like someone punched me over and over in the back, it was sore. 2.) my ballsack shrunk and was hurting my baby makers and felt like i justed in a pool of ice water but only dipping my Sack in it. 3.) i found my sexdrive a little more pushy(horny). i am not perscribe this drug i am just seeing if its what i need. I have almost every ADHD adult would have. Yes i understand this isn't legal but its what i am willing to try. I haven't been addicted to any drug i have done in my entire life Yes 22 short years to some but been through alot so i feel about 45. My son age 5 recently started taking adderall XR and it has been a living HELL. We are taking him off and going to try the patch Daytrana. Adderall makes him feel sick and angry. We would much rather deal with his adhd then have him on this terrible drug.
I strongly urge every parent not to put their children on ADDERALL. ↑ |

Iwow... This medicine has caused my family many problems. My ex wife died in December, cause .. I don't know, but I was the one who had to tell their kids that they would never see their mother again. Was she eating my little girls pills.. I think so, but anyways. I've had my kids 15 days per mth, since we split upu 9 years ago, and my little girl is on this addarell 10mg, and I have taken her off the meds, and the doctor, told me to do what ever I wanted, she's been the children's doctor since birth, and she doesn't think that Catherine needs it, .... well the doctors in the school... awww.. this is another story. What a mess, and I feel that my daughters teacher is pushing the meds, and he questions her evey day about her meds, and this embarasses her. She told me today that he didn't ask, and she was very happy that he didn't ask. Hey.. anyone who thinks their kid needs drugs to control them, need to really take some classes on being a parent. I was never 3 day per mth father. I was involved with every aspect of my childrens life that I could, from coaching, to school, doctor visits. AND I had to fight for these rights in court and I got them.
December, me and my children went through the worst thing anyone can go through. I had to tell my kids they would never see their mother again, and being 12 and 9. I can't even understand what they are going through.. But I know how bad it hurt me, But what a mess,... .. If your kids are on drugs, this is just a gateway drug to long term dependency and illigal drug use. ↑ |

I just found out yesterday that I get miner seizures
and Im really scared
I cant do anything with out getting really dizzy and feeling like im going to get a seizure ↑ |

| My 9 year old boy started having seizures when he started on Concerta. The doc swears it wasn't the concerta - that he would have them without the meds - and maybe he would, but his ADHD is so bad that the thought of going without is out of the question. ↑ |

| Each child is different. My son has been on Concerta and is now on adderal XR and we are thinking about changing it to something else. He is 6 years old and takes 25mg a day. He can't function, not even to watch his favorite movie on TV with out it. But He is not much better with it. One major change since upping his dose is he sleeps less (3 to 5 hours a night) and eats a lot more. If you are haveing problems with the medication you need to talk to the doctor and see about trying something different. There are to many ways to treat ADHD to settle for one that is not working or that is causeing more problems. ↑ |
