I recently took my daughter off of concerta after 5 years. Her behavior is difficult with focusing and impulsivness. Her grades have gone from A's and B's to C, D, F. Friendships seem a little more difficult. BUT, she seems happier, she is not as emotional and I feel like she is not a zombie and I see the good and bad of her personality. I can also help her fiqure out how to cope with her ADD symptoms instead of masking them. We have had some luck with DORE Achievement Center. GOOD LUCK

Be sure to work with your child's physician before stopping any meds.
