I'm very new to this and I don't know if this is the best site to put this on giving some of the things I have read in some other posts. But I guess I can give this a try. We read the post you and your sister placed about placing her baby and she even expressed that she at first wanted to give the baby to you but you had just found out that you were pregnant - so thats why she was on here to find a good family, but you are here trying to adopt as well..... | There might be people who are not serious. i have talked to quite a few families that seem ligit and just really want to have a baby. The only difference between going through an agency and doing a private adoption is agency charge an outrageous amount of money. That money would be better of spent on the child towards college etc. I am on here because I would like to do a private adoption and I know we are good people with good hearts. We just want a child to complete our family. Sure please do be careful but, there is also a lot of nice people on here to. I have talked to quite a few of them. Anyway good luck.
