A LOT OF THEM ARE CAMAROONS JUST TRYING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. MOST OF THE REST ARE EMOTIONAL SCAMMERS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DO THIS OR WHAT THEY GET OUT OF IT. THEY ARE PROBABLY NOT EVEN PREGNANT AND THE PICTURES THEY SHOW YOU ARE PROBABLY NOT PICTURES OF THEM. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY DO IT BUT, THEY DO. THEY WILL ONLY BREAK YOUR HEART. AS IF SOMEONE WANTING A BABY NEEDS ANYMORE HEARTBREAK. I SUGGEST EITHER GOING THROUGH AGENCY OR GOING TO PROJECT CUDDLE WHERE YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE ARE REAL. I WISH EVERYONE ALL THE LOVE AND LUCK IN THE IN FINDING YOUR BABY. TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE HERE JUST TO BREAK PEOPLE'S HEARTS OR STEAL THEIR MONEY YOU CAN KISS MY _ _ _ _!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Without adding salt to the wound Michelle, you kinda put yourself out there. This is not a personality contest. It is not about who sticks up for the EM best. Did you wonder why out of all of the potential couples who post on here for a baby, their first, why you were chosen. A women who has 3 bio kids all young can have more but feels like she has more love to give to another infant. You have no home study, how did this person not know whether you were a child molester or murderer? Because you said you weren't? I initially came on to this site as a professional to get leads. It soon became obvious that this was not possible, so it has turned into my morning entertainment. A cup of coffee and babycrowd. Sometimes I play the which PAP is real, game. This is the internet!!! Until you meet with someone or you are working with someone who has met them or you are going to meet them - don't take anything for real. ↑ |

sweet beginnings I was in the process of getting my homestudy. That is how she would know what kind of person I am. You obviously can"t adopt with out a homestudy. I am a good person whether you believe it or not. I am knew at this and I am learning. I just thought I might have been one of the first people she talked to our personalities clicked. This is kind of why I didn't want anyone to know. I am hurting right now and the last thing need is people saying I told you so. Anyway I have learned my lesson. I don't think I have more love than any one else here that wants to adopt but, I have been blessed with a good home and a good family. I don't see why I shouldn't give that to a child if I want to. I really just wanted to warn other people who hadn't learned like I hadn't. I was trying to help other people from getting hurt. Best wishes to everyone.

| Michelle, I'm not saying you should'nt be adopting, I'm not saying you shouldn't be chosen, I'm not saying you don't have lots of love to give. What I'm saying is YOU put yourself out there, she chose you because of the way you were talking to others about how they didn't know anything. I understand you are just learning,and I will be excited for you the day you really connect but, many others who have learned were warning you and you continued to publicly say they didn't know...THIS is why you were chosen, You were an easy target. This is why professionals get paid for their services. I understand many of us may take advantage and charge higher fees than necessary,but many of us don't. It takes time, experience and time(again) to wade through hundreds of responses. I don't work with every EM or adoptive family that comes to me, I have to research and make choices, this comes from experience. Many think we take advantage of people because they want a baby. I spend a lot of time with my clients providing education and support. This should be for free ? In an ideal world it would be but with 4 children and a mortgage ....And just in case anyone wants to say the foster system does it for free, WRONG, you're taxes pay for that you just don't see it. In fact the adoption assistance check that you continue to receive after the adoption -comes from the state, who do you think that money comes from. Anyway I'll get off my soapbox, it's Sunday and I guess I felt the need for a sermon. I love what I do, I'm proud of my work, I love the EM's and PAP's I work with. I hate that there are people who take advantage of good people. Michelle, adoption is a wonderful way to build a family , and if you are as real as the way you write you will be blessed. She didn't choose me because, I was taking up for her. I took up for because, she had already chose me and I didn't like the way it was hurting her. The people talking about her on babycrowd really upset her and therefore it upset me. She didn't pick me for that reason.

| Sweetbeginnings, respectfully though you're correct that it is taxpayers who ultimately subsidize expenses for fostercare and fostercare adoptions, I don't incur anymore personal taxes than the next person just because I am a foster parent and an adoptive parent to a fosterchild. One might suggest that taxpayers also subsidize private birthmoms' pregnancies and birth expenses as many birthmoms are on welfare and/or medicaid. I am a strong advocate of foster parenting and foster adoptions and am thankful for the assistance that comes along with those type of adoptions. We could not have provided a home for the numerous special needs kids who have come into our care without that assistance. Yes, in a fostercare adoption, the state pays for the adoption and many times provides a monthly subsidy and though some may refer to that as being a "free" adoption. As we all know though...nothing is really free. I just had to respond as I feel professionals like you provide a wonderful service as do state agencies attempting to place 'harder to place kids'. Michelle, i am sorry for your loss. Don't give up hope, and as Sweetbeginnings suggested, you might consider retaining a professional...it will keep the heartaches down. ↑ |

| Hi Lynmaria, As I write this I sit here with a foster babe on my lap, I did not mean any disrepect to the foster care system. I'm the foster parent liaison in my county. I teach fost/adopt parenting classes and one of my children was a fost/adopt. I brought that into the equation only to qualify that nothing is for free. As an RN I worked the county hospital for over 13yrs as a labor and delivery nurse, which is how I got involved in fostercare. ↑ |

Trust me I know this is no trophy or contest. All I did was get hurt. If anything it just makes me look like an idiot because, I believed in her. It won't happen to me again. I won't talk to anyone else unless they are willing to give me proof of pregnancy in the beginning. Someone had just said they picked me because, I took up for her. I was just letting them know it was the other way around. She probably told everyone she talked to that she had picked them. Trust me I am not proud of it. I was just trying to warn other people. As I said it won't happen to me again. I wish all the real people here the best.
