| I have been on the site a couple of weeks or so. I asked the same question and one person responded that they did adopt from this site but thought it was rare. Everyone who has contacted me accept one appears to be a scam. One person said he is trying to adopt out his 4 year old nephew who lives with his father who can not get along with the family. That seemed very strange to me. There appears to be a lot of desperate people who want to adopt here and a ton of scammers. My guess if you find someone who really wants to adopt out there child it would be like finding a needle in a haystake. For the time being it is worth my efforts. But my guess is nothing will happen. You need to decide how important your time is to you. I bet I would have a better chance at winning the lottery and we all know how bad those odds are. I really wish these supposed birthmothers had more compassion for their children who would certainly have a better life if adopted. It would be nice if they had compassion for those who are willing and waiting with arms opened for a child to bless their lives. ↑ |

| I agree with CathyP. I think also that most of the supposed birthmothers aren't even pregnant. I can't imagine finding anything serious on a message board like this. Put the shoe on the other foot, If you were pregnant, would you really look for a family on a message board? I know I wouldn't. ↑ |

| I have talk to a few people on here some are for real but lots are scams as well. Read through the cracks, some are pretty obvious. Just be careful. ↑ |
