I have a friend that I met a Christian worshiping service last year and she had told me about her and her husband wanted to Adopt but could not afford a agency so she was going to try to adopt by word of mouth, well I am going to be honest. I thought that was Impossible, well what a Fool I was, she has been talking to this mommy for three months and it looks really well for them but I am not sure If I agree with how the lawyer is handling this and so i wanted to ask, What should be the order that this is handled in please!!!!! Thank you ↓

| One thing that stands out to me is that the lawyer is telling my friend that once the baby is born they will fax papers to the Social Worker at the Hospital and the Birthmom signs in front of a Notary Republic and that is legal, That is not true is it? We used a Agency but the Attorney came to the hospital and the Birthmom signed the papers. ↑ |

| She is very fortunate and it does happen. I have a friend years ago that her sister & 2 of her sister-in-laws adopted that way. No one could have children and by word of mouth that was 3 babies from 3 different people. I feel the agencies are all about the money not that they don't deserve to be paid but after paying the thousands of $$ what is left. I just spoke to someone who is adopting international and it's about the money. Depends on how fast and young is what you will pay. My husband & i have lots of love to give. I also helped my sister with her kids so this is not new to me. We just could not have a baby but we will keep our fingers crossed that some one will come along. I would just like to say to all of those young girls 12,13 & up think about it. Love is grand and at that age everyone wants to play house. There are plenty of people wanting to adopt and if you chose that it will hurt for awhile but you have a whole life ahead of you to get on your feet and the baby will have a great life also. Consider that you have done 2 great deeds in life. ↑ |
