Parentprofiles.com is one site where the couples have to be homestudy approved before they put up a page. That means they are prescreened and ready to adopt. They have taken the time and energy to do things right. ↓

www.independentadoptioncenter.org there are also around 250 families listed and you can narrow the search also like parent profiles and all are home-study approved and background check done. ↑

Betty, Many adoptive couples such as myself, have spent all their money for homestudys and agencies, there is nothing extra to be on parent profiles. I respect your opinion, but for those of us that just don't have anything extra left, please don't try to sway away any legitimate Birthmothers that view this board ! My friend met her borthmother from this site ! Thank you ! Eugenie ↑

Also please note that in at least 5 states it is not legal to pay for services like parentprofiles because they are considered an on-line facilitator and illegal to use for help or advertising. ↑
