I am 31 and already a single mother of a beautiful 7 year old girl. I have just learned after a 5 year relationship that I was pregnate. When I told him the news he said my only opton was abortion. I cant go thru with that but I cant afford another child on my own. I dont want to go thru an agency does any one out there have any advice for me. I am so broken up right now and feel very alone.

Sunny, what I have learned on this site is that it works better if you talk one on one with people...its so much more personal that way, if you would leave your email addy on here so we can get in touch with you. It sounds like more than all else what you need right now is a friend. Having been in your shoes at one point in my life I would love to be that friend for you. I will watch for your addy

Hi Sunny, abortion is NOT your only option. Understandably, you can't go through with that. My only advice for you is to consider adoption. My birth mother did the very best thing she could do for me--she allowed a beautiful couple that couldn't have children to adopt me. As it turns out, I can't have children of my own and now my husband and I wish to adopt a child of our own. If you're located in Canada (I'm in Saskatchewan) we'd love to talk to you!

Hi sunny. you must think hard about your decision. i think adoption would be better than abortion. i have been infertile for 5 years now and have been trying hard to concieve. i have a tumor that is pressing against my pituitart glad. it was not found for 4 years even though i complained for years. my husband now ex-husband was angry when he found out i could not have another child. i am only 27. i have 2 beautiful children now. from him. but adoption seems like a better idea. i understand your feelings about an agency. it seems scary. i cant afford an agency, to turn to. my cousin took an infant from a family friend and pretty much rubbed it in my face knowing that i was infertile and trying.

Being an adoptive mom myself I have been so blessed after many, many years of prayers. Just take your time follow your heart and I pray you will find the perfect family for your angel.
