Michelle...no, I am not a birthmom. I am an adoptive mom to our foster daughter and mom to two biological sons. We have foster parented for 11 years and still do. I keep in touch with very many of our past foster kids and their families and consequently am linked to potential adoption situations often. I am an advocate of children in foster care and volunteer in helping to find families for children who wait in the fostercare system. I am very protective of birthmoms, prospective adoptive parents and the professionals involved as all play a very important and sensitive role in adoption. I am even more protective of the children as often times, we adults are their only voice. I am already a member of Cafemom..(thank you for the invitation) .in fact, I own several groups there and have recently initiated an adoption website that is still in its very early stages. I frequent Babycrowd and have steered birthmoms I know to families on babycrowd who are hoping to adopt. I am always networking. Thank you for your kind words, there are many good people here....on all sides of the triad....but they do tend do get lost in the drama of the attention seekers. I hope you and Christophersmommy find your babies very soon and I feel certain you will. Keep the faith....it will happen.
