Name: mommyinwaiting [ Original Post ] I have my cell number posted in several places, incase there is a birthmom who needed to talk or just to make it easier to let us know she wanted to chose us. However, that was probably not a good idea. Last night, after I went to bed, I received 2 phone calls. One was a silly song, by some man I have never heard is voice before and the second was for solicitation of se* acts. Of course, he came upstairs and woke me up and asked me what the he double hocky stick!!!! is going on. Needless to say, I am in the process of just leaving my attorney's phone number to be reached. :( it is sad that there are scammers and jerks that ruin for someone like me that only can grow her family through adoption and ruins it for the person who does need to talk to know someone is on her side and not against her. ↓

Sorry Mommy, I know theres definately lots of different types of people on the Internet. Its sad too because you defiinately seem to be a trusting person to give your number out. And brave too because I don't even like giving my e-mail out.....LOL Good Luck on your search....... : ) ↑

Yeah giving your # out like that wasn't the smartest thing to do although you had the best of intentions for doing it. you never know who is lurking on the net even in a place like this one! ↑

Hi, Sorry to hear of your prank phone calls ... some people have nothing better to do with their time. We set up a toll free number and this is the number that I posted EVERYWHERE ..... We still got the prank phone calls - I had a caller tell me that I could pay for her to fly up to meet us and have sex with my husband this way the baby would be 1/2 his .....urghhhh! The company that I used is USA Datanet .... they will have your toll free number working after about 1/2 hour after you call them and the calls are very cheap, if I remember correctly they were .10/min and the best part .... THERE IS NO MONTHLY FEE!!! You only pay for what you use. When I was not home I transferred my home calls to my cell so I would be sure not to miss any calls. I am sooo sorry.... I did the same thing with my cell hoping that people would be able to contact us if they needed to reach us.... So far I have gotten two international phone calls... which I didn't answer but found online It sucks that there are people who are heartless like the ones you mentioned... ↑
