why is it that you have to buy a baby now a days? My husband and I are childless and cannot afford the kind of money they want today for a baby. And then there are people out there that kill their children or like 2 weeks ago just left a newborn in a box on the side of the road. why? ↓

adoption has gotten so expensive b/c lawyers. facilitators and agnecies have relized that some couples will pay almost anything to have a baby in thier waiting arms. I checked out one agency by me and they wanted $20,000 just to post our profile. They guarrented us a newborn within 6 months! What a crock that was, the final cost after lawyers, court and the birthmother was close to $50,000!!
we also want a child but holy cr@p that is almost extorsion in my mind!!
we had lady around her leave her child (only 4 hours old) under a tree at a dog park hoping someone would find it!! ↑ |

| i know. we have friends who have a daughter who has 3 kids. the first 2 she left when she left their father. thank god he stepped up and took over. they are so happy. now she had another baby and then got arrested and is in jail. now our friends have the baby and are raising it. some just pop them out and do not care who takes care of them. others just leave them. well here we are. someone leave us your child. we will take it in and raise and love it. one could only dream of that. then I have to wake up and back to reality. we are childless. I love my husband so much for loving me who cannot give him a child. he is my rock. thank for listening. ↑ |

i know how you feel, i have no children of my own due to a previous medical condition but I LOVE KIDS!
I know one lady has 5 kids, no job and just keeps having them, all with different fathers. As she says as longs as they can pay CS she will keep on having babies! How sick is that? 2 of the dads are currently in jail and she gets no CS. Her home is nasty, her children are unspervised but DCFS will do nothing b/c they are fed, clothed and go to school.

I am a single mom who was/has been thinking about adoption. I posted on this site May 25th 2009 and I had people offer me cash for the baby once they got my email. It is a sad world we live in. I am in counseling
to help me decide what I really want to do and I came to this site for advice, support and help. To be honest I had one person tell me to go to adoptions.com and found a really nice birthmom who placed and she has given me wonderful advice. My one issue when looking into adoption is that I don't want the couple to buy the baby. I don't undertsand why couples have to pay so much money to do so? Just wanted to say my piece. I thinking adoption should not be so expensive and I think it should be about what is best for the baby. ↑ |

| I have gotten to the point where I cannot even be happy for someone who is having a baby. I am just sick. I want a child so bad but know will never have one. Cannot afford to buy one. so I love my husband to pieces and hope that I am enough for him when we are old and gray and have no one else but each other. those out there who have children, I hope you know how precious they are. ↑ |

have you thought about foster to adopt in your area. they pay for everything and you just have to wait

| I don't understand what is going on in the world today. My husband and I are good people and all we want is to have a family. The adoptions agencies say they want a couple that can support the baby after the adoption, but how can we when we have to pay $30,000 to adopt in the first place.
