I'm 31 and considering as well. But, I have been thinking...is that what I really want? To raise a child alone? I have 2 sisters that are single mothers, and I watch them struggle so much. Maybe, if you're looking for someone to begin life with, have you tried online dating? I am currently trying. But I also have decided to present myself to everyone I know that I am single, and looking. Dr.'s Offices that I'm comfortable with. I let them know I'm single, and what I'm looking for..you never know right? Really weigh your thoughts and options before you make that decision. Good luck!!

Unfortunately most guys have no desire to be parents. I wish I could clone myself but have to settle on just being a donor.
I take it you are in America. In Australia we get money from the government for the mother and for each child, plus money for rent assistance for single mothers so there is none of the problems with child welfare. The mothers don't have to start some paid work until the youngest starts school. The money isn't much but no-one starves. You can earn some money before the government will reduce what they give you and if you want to work full time they subsidise child care. 35 years old is the drop off when the chances of getting a positive test go from 20% per month to 10% at 40 and 5% at 45. Off course there is still getting to the three months and carry to full term.
