Well you certainly will be answering someone's prayers! I looked and looked for a surro cuz I had to have a hysterectomy and my husband and I want a child of our own to raise. I just would hate to use a clinic. Would you be willing to do it privately? email me at brandymhendershot@yahoo.com

Wow Jessica. You are a rare person, which happens to be awesome. My partner and I have been trying to start a family for 3 years. First we tried surrogacy and egg donation with no luck. We have moved onto International Adoption, but just over a month ago the gov't of the country we are working in kidnapped all the children in the orphanage our son is in. We are still looking for him but have gotten no leads. Can we talk about surrogacy with you as a viable option?

Thanks,
Thad

I've just read your posting and I have to comment. It is clear that there are so many couples out there who are in need of a Gestational Surrogate. It is an incredibly generous gift to give a couple who cannot concieve or carry a pregnancy of their own. It has it's risks, as all medical procedures do, but is truly a rewarding an experience. 7 years ago my husband and I needed an egg donor and found one thru a local program. I now have two beautiful children, both conceived thru the one donation cycle with my donor. We were blessed, and I thank God daily for them. Now I work with the same program, helping couples who need egg donors and gestational surrogates to create a family.I would suggest if you have any thoughts about being a gestational surrogate, consider a fertility program. It provides you with a support system, medical and legal advice, and, importantly, a compassionate advocate for you during the entire process. We have couples currently waiting for a surrogate, We are located in Illinois, where the GS/IP laws are the most comprehensive in terms of protecting both sides.
