A GS is a gestational Surrogate where the surrogate mother doesnt provide her own eggs she uses her womb, a TS is a traditional surrogate who provide her egg and her womb. I would probably be concerned about someone wanting to be a GS with an exact figure in mind like she is trying to get out of some sort of trouble.

Thank you for the info. I think most of us knew it was a surrogate, but the "G" was what was throwing us off.

Knowing what such initials stand for is more of a reflection on a person's exposure to the practice of surrogacy then it is on a person's sanity level. If a person has had no desire or need to check into the practice of surrogacy, how would they know the terminology? ↑ |
