we have been looking into adoption for some time now and we feel we can't afford to fork out $30,000 for a kid and we have been in the foster care process and we feel that the chance of adopting a foster child is very small and it is a huge emotional roller coaster with court, and visits, etc. We are hoping to find a woman is looking for a good home for her unborn child. We know that we can provide that, we just don't want to take out a home equity loan to do it. I just have a bad feeling about financing my kid.
