can somebody help with trrying to get my 8 year old son to eat again? He has been in hospital 2 months ago for tests and when he came home had all but stopped eating, he has lost 9klo's in weight and will vomite when eats food that he once used to and now wont eat, the food now makes him vomit and im ggetting concerned. Please if you can help i would be very grateful. thank you ↓

If he is being physically sick then that would suggest an actual medical issue here and not just the fact he needs some talking to.

Sometimes children will do this because of emotional issues, like food reminds him of hospital maybe, either way, a doctor either a GP or a psychotherapist. ↑

Your son got accustomed to not eating, therefore he vomits even when eating familiar foods. You have every right to be concerned, Work with his favorite even if it is potatoe chips or cookies. Allow his stomach time to adjust. He will be okay. Find a way to be calm about the situation and it too shall pass.
