I just heard on the radio that US government will be reviewing video game addiction and if it is deemed a disability, or disorder they will "Kick In" for the treatment. My Son is on the spectrum and we have gone through almost a year of evaluations from 5 different agencies to see if he is even eligible. Now, even though he "might" be eligible I may have to "Kick in" a portion of this 70 thousand dollar a year treatment for a very really disorder. Let me tell you, I wish my son was addicted to video games.

Unfortunately, this is the sad truth when it comes to autism, but is these governments are smart (which they currently are not) they better shape up because with this disorder hitting 1/94 boys and 1/150 children, it's either deal with it now (when there is still a chance of helping these children) or deal with it later when they won't be as adaptable and cost the government $$$$ in disability benefits!
