Name: Ontario_Father [ Original Post ] I just heard on the radio that US government will be reviewing video game addiction and if it is deemed a disability, or disorder they will "Kick In" for the treatment. My Son is on the spectrum and we have gone through almost a year of evaluations from 5 different agencies to see if he is even eligible. Now, even though he "might" be eligible I may have to "Kick in" a portion of this 70 thousand dollar a year treatment for a very really disorder. Let me tell you, I wish my son was addicted to video games. ↓

Unfortunately, this is the sad truth when it comes to autism, but is these governments are smart (which they currently are not) they better shape up because with this disorder hitting 1/94 boys and 1/150 children, it's either deal with it now (when there is still a chance of helping these children) or deal with it later when they won't be as adaptable and cost the government $$$$ in disability benefits! ↑
