Hi, Justine1. Thanks for your response. I'll try having them over for two or three hours. I think your right that, then, he may not get so overwhelmed. Maybe we'll get nice weather and have a cook-out; he loves it outdoors and can find a private space to relax. Too, I don't want to push them away--not really. As a society, I don't think people are as tolerant as they should be with children, and when a child has autism...well,you know what it can be like. I'm glad that we can connect here. ↑

... I'm studying Chinese Medicine in China and wanted to share this because I've really seen them do some amazing things for autistic children. Please spread the word because I've always felt that less is more.. especially when healing the human body.. This technique is so gentle that you can safely use it at home for your children. And being able to receive healing at home I think really helps the child feel a lot safer and more comfortable. This technique works by recircuiting your energy pathways as well as raising your qi levels so that the entire body starts to receive nutrients in all the right places so that it can jump start the body's self healing mechanism. Thanks for your time and feel free to email me if you have any questions. Live. Laugh. Love. ↑ |

I am new to this site and I have a five year old son with Autism. He was diagnosed at 2 years old shortly after his MMR vaccination. I am one of the mothers who think the mercury in the vaccine caused his condition because prior to the shot he was talking and just a typical child. Now he is antisocial he stims alot and all this started just before my divorce so now I am a single mother with an autistic child just looking to share stories and find other people who understand what its like to be in my shoes ↑

Lets create some shirts using primary colors or someother cool color of our childrens choice that reads "I'm not spoiled, I have Autism" please be nice! I guess they would be better for preK, school age kids on outings only. I think in school, the other kids would pick on them. During outings the other kids may not because the parents are with them. Is this the way to get the word out??? or maybe help people understand what haveing an autistic child is like. Im not sure. Any Ideas???? ↑
Hello I was wondering if anyone has a child taking risperdal? ↑
Hi, I have worked with children with autism in the past as a public school teacher and I have seem how a gluten free diet can change the behavior and calmness of an autistic child. I, myself, have a gluten intolerance so I decided to start helping others with how to live gluten free. My site is http://www.examiner.com/x-2587
