Hi Kat,
My daughter is 2.5 and not interested in the potty at all. I can't say this is a sign of anything other than she is not ready yet. However, in regards to bottles my daughter is totally infactuated. She lines then up one by one all the time and walks around the house with a bottle of some sort in each hand. I am ok with this and although unusual behavior, I don't feel it is harmful a this time. Fortunately, she doesn't has a fit if I take it away from her so that helps. ↑ |
i would be ok with him liking bottles too ..but i guess i should have been more specific.. my son like glass bottles-he likes plastic pop bottles too and those we can let him have but glass bottles for a 3 yr old to carry around is not really safe-so i wish he liked something he can have.i think its a sensory issue with him-he likes the way the glass bottle feels in his hand or something, i dont really understand it myself. he does like lining things up too.that i dont mind.
i wish he could tell me why he likes glass bottles so much......
my son was not interested in the potty at all either and then right after he turned 3 he just started going himself all the time-we never even had to remind him-but he will not poop in the potty for nothing! he will not go in his underwear, he always asks for a diaper. i dont know how i am going to get him to poop in the potty, i have tried everything !maybe he will just start doing it himself-i hope! ↑ |
