My son is 9 months old, he's eating solids, very independent, and loves breast feeding (so do I). AND I just found out that I am pregnant (very happy news). I want to keep breast feeding my son for as long as possible but I've noticed that my milk supply has decreased. I wonder if he's getting enough? I've never given him formula and am reluctant to start - can you please help me with some advice here?

Continue breastfeeding... the more suckling on the breast the more they will continue to fill up. You may feel that your son is not getting enough but as long as he continues to gain weight and continues to have numerous wet diapers I wouldn't be concerned at all. If he stops having wet diapers and starts crying a lot I would consider supplementing with formula. Instead of giving him just formula pump and give him half and half, instead of mixing the formula with water, use breast milk.
