| BREASTFEED BREASTFEED BREASTFEED!!! Your doctor is correct. Food allergies are normally hereditary and also show that baby has a high chance of having additional food allergies. Breastfeeding is the ONLY way you have of preventing the allergies of being passed on. I am sure being a person with food allergies you know how much of a PIA it is and you have the power of preventing that for your precious one by EXCLUSIVELY breastfeeding. When you have a child with a high possibility of food allergies you also want to make sure that you do NOT supplement with formula OR introduce solids before 6 months. Formula and early introduction of solids can and do lead to food allergies. Please let me know what information I can provide you with to make sure you have a positive and happy breastfeeding experience. Do you have an additional questions? The key with breastfeeding is education so you are starting your journey correctly. While breastfeeding is natural it does not always come naturally to everyone and that is NORMAL. You are going to do AMAZING!!! ↑ |
