Hi.. I have a baby who is 6 months now. Have been breastfeeding her until now. Lately I felt that my milk is not sufficient for her and hence was topping up with formula.
The last couple of days she has enjoyed the bottle feed so much (guess due to the free flow of milk) and is now refusing to drink milk from me. I tried various positions, and also distracted her. But she is not wanting milk from me. In the nights since she is sleepy she doesn't realise that she is being breast fed. I want to breastfeed her atleast for 1 year. I am getting stressed too.

Any suggestions.. Or is it time to move her to solids and formula. Kindly advise.

There may be a local breast feeding club, I know my friend goes to one and they all offer support and breastfeed together! Ask you GP or midwife? x

My daughter was having the same problem and what she did was used her breast pump and put it in a bottle and the baby was fine. She had started back to work now and the same thing the baby has to eat when she's at work but she wanted her to have her breast milk so she just pumps it and put it in a bottle for the sitter. http://pregnanttimes.com
