I SWEAR MY DAUGHTER NEVER BURPS AT NIGHT THEN THE NEXT DAY SHE IS SOOOO FUSSY. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANOTHER GOOD WAY TO BURP INSTEAD OF DOING IT OVER THE SHOLDER BECAUSE SHE FALLS ASLEEP TOOO FAST THAT WAY AND NEVER BURPS. LAST NIGHT I STAYED UP FOR 45 MIN TRYING TO BURP HER AND NOTHING.

| Well sometimes the pressure from your hand in her tummy will help I think it just depends on the baby but it's worth a try. just lay her across your arm w/ her head towards your elbow and your hand in her tummy. ↑ |

| This might be too late---but I saw on a baby program a guy "stirring the baby"----sit them on your lap, supporting their head, but instead of tapping them on the back---you move them around in little circles---not fast or anything, just enought to move their little stomachs around----I tried this on Kaden--and he would automatically burp everytime. ↑ |

| Kendra is a hard burper sometimes too. I will dod the over the shoulder, sitting on the lap thing, over my knees and then sometimes I jsut have to chill for abit and sit her up like randi said and she will either burp or then I will start another chcyl of patting her back and rubbing her back and then she will finally burp. Once in a while she won't so I jsut figure tha tshe doesn't ahve too. Oh brandiss the drop ins are good for preventing air form getting in the babys stomach. Also the dr browns bottles are goo too. you can get both at walmart ↑ |

| thanks jill i will try that with xylea next time. i am finally getting her to burp but i swear she still is getting tummy aches. she breaths heavy allll the time like as she is pushing. i wake up to her breathing heavy alll the time and feel like there is something wrong with her. yesterday she had 2 poops and i feel as thought she isnt constipated but i wonder why she is breathing soooo heavy. i am going insane lol.....jp. ↑ |
