Do all woman have to get contractions before there water breaks?
im 37 weeks.. and i have nothing.. no contractions at all... could my water break without any notice at all and suprise me? ↓

| Yes. You don't need to have them before hand. Most of the time your water doesn't break... you go into labour and they do it there. You could just have contractions and then have the baby the same day though : ) ↑ |

| I was contracting but not regular, so they broke my waters for me...didnt hurt at all...but it came with a big gush thast for sure. How you going Rosey? ↑ |

yeh im fine lol... i have no sign of anything happening... the only thing i have is pressure.. but obviously cause of the baby sitting on my organs...
im only 37 weeks.. so im prob looking too far into it too early ahahah. ↑ |

pressure is a good sign! As much as it hurts..it means baby is getting ready! I bet you can't wait for her to be here!

Altho i did get up to go loo in the early hours of this morning.. and had to rush back to bed.. because i had what felt like a tummy ache.. and back ache.. but isnt contractions spose to feel like period pain?
the pain i was getting was all over my tummy and back.. not just down below where period pains are. ↑ |

i want isabelle.. and im certain that will be her name.. but my boyfriend is fixed on savannah.. so i have been trying to put him off!

i felt my contractions all over my tummy and mainly on my left side...and in my back...but up the top, not down the bottom....everyone is different...are they still there? If you are unsure its not a bad idea to go into the hospital and get checked..jsut for piece of mind...
I did that the night before i got induced because i was having pains but nothing i could time and when they did an internal i was 4.5 cms dialated...thats why they induced me..
If you are getting any sort of pains like contractions (i know its hard to know what they feel like with your first) i would either ring and talk to a midwife or jsut go and get checked!!! ↑ |

i know you must be anxious..i was ready for Olivia at like 35 weeks haha...any pain i was like OH YES maybe this is it...thast probs why i went to 42 weeks nearly hahaha...just to punish me!
My little one slept through the night last nite! and she is only 1 week +1 day old!
Just watch your pains becsaeu any sort of pain could be the start of soemthing...eventually....it just means your body is doing its job in getting everything ready! ↑ |

i couldnt even begin to describe the feelings you feel...its like you fall in love....but it happens over and over and over again! Its amazing. They bring you so much joy!
I had a fantastic sleep...if i wake up though im terrible i love just watching her!

LOL nahh not stalker mum.. im gunna be the same.. i feel like its gunna be like xmas every morning when i wake up.. to know i have a baby in the cot next to me.. i wont want her to ever sleep !!

| yes. mine broke when i coughed haha.. but i wasnt have any contractions that i knew of at that point, then after 8 hours, no dialation but full on contractions i was put on pitocin, 21 hours i was pushing. haha yay.. but yeh dont fret. i mean i went in the er a few times b.c i was having preterm contractions 2-5 mins apart but nothing happened. ↑ |
