Name: zoey9810 [ Original Post ] Im back from mississippi, we had an awesome time, A friend loaned us some money, so I was able to stay longer than expected, Tyler did great on the way up, it was about a 10hr drive, and only had to make like 3-4 stops. on the way back, Tyler was Miserable!!!! I was exhausted from crying and saying good bye and only got an hr and 45 min of sleep before i got on the road, We did like 8 stops! and he was a mess the whole time, just sick of sitting in his car seat. it took like 12 hours to get back this time! Every single song on the radio made me cry, and Tonight is going go be rough, I miss him so much and i just hope hes safe over there, he leaves in a couple of hours! Im happy to be home, but its lonely and quiet here! Some times i just want to go into a hibernation mode and just wait for this to be over! ↓

I'm so glad you and Chris had a great visit and you got to stay a little longer than you thought!! I know how hard it is to say goodbye when they leave for deployment, I went through it with my hubby so I feel your pain. I will keep Chris in my thoughts and pray for his safe return, I'm so sorry you are going through this pain again, but know that you aren't alone, we are all here for you if you ever need to talk, vent or whatever else!!! ↑

Lauren you seriously just brought tears to my eyes! This sucks honey but your strong and it sounds as though you have a good support system in your parents and friends! You will get through this and we will all be thinking of you and your family and hoping for Chris's SAFE and SPEEDY RETURN. If theres anything at all I can do to help just let me know, oh and btw I did send some stuff off of your list over through a local thing here who gets things to the soilders. Just hang in there and be strong for Tyler and keep busy as you can to pass the time by quickly, he'll be home before you know it! SENDING YOU BIG HUGS FROM MY WAY! ↑

That's so nice of your friend to lend you money to spend extra time with Chris!!! Glad you and Tyler had fun. Good byes definetly suck big time! Hang in there girl, chin up. Good byes are not fun but "Hello" is even better. Once you get a routine going you'll ok. I'll be praying for Chris and he's fellow Soliders. I'm on AIM/Yahoo if you need to talk. ↑
