I HAVE ALREADY HAD 3 ULTRASOUNDS IN 4 MONTHS. ONE AT 4 WEEKS, 10 WEEKS AND ONE AT 17 WEEKS. AT MY APPT FOR THE 17 WEEK ULTRASOUND WE WERE GOING TO FIND OUT WHAT WE WERE HAVING, AND WE DIDNT. I AM KINDA UPSET AS THE ULTRASOUND TEC LOOKED AS SHE WAS IN A RUSH AND TRYING TO GET IT OVER WITH. I CONTACTED MY INSURANCE JUST NOW AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW MANY ULTRASOUND A INSURANCE COMPANY COVERS? ↓

I know it seems far away but you will be able to see so many more features, you baby will have more fat on it so it wont look as scary as ours did toay.

| I had nearly 20 done on me. Insurance will pay for them if they requested by the doctor, in that case it doesn't matter how many you have unless you have crappy insurance. ↑ |

| It really all depends on the insurance company. Some insurance company will only pay for 1 unless the ultrasound the ultrasound is requested by the doctor because something just doesn't seem right. Some insurance companies will pay for 2. While other will pay for as many as you need if you. The insurance that I have only pays for 1 unless I am high risk. My last insurance paid for 2. ↑ |

| I'm so happy you can get another us. If you feel there are things you need, always ask your doctor and if it gets put in your record, insurance will cover most things. It's all about the medical coding. I could have got a breast pump covered, my baby was a fussy eater and they put that in his chart under a specific code that insurance companies look for. Found out too late. Anyway, always ask your doctor even if the item isn't truly medically necessary. Best wishes. ↑ |
