You should start kick counts at 28 weeks. 10 movements in an hour...maybe 2. I really can't remember. I know for sure it is 28 weeks and when you get to that point, ask your doctor. ↑
plus at 23 weeks the baby is still pretty small so you wont necessarily always feel her ↑
at 23 wks the baby still weighs a lb or less. ↑
Well kick counts at 28 weeks like randi said. Doctors five different numbers that you should have, but my dr said 8-10 movements per hour, but they don't need to be super strong "kicks" as for when you will fel the baby more that really depends on the woman and the size of the baby vs' the enviroment. I felt both my son and daughter often from about 20-21 weeks on, but the movements weren't always hard or strong. I did not gain much weight and my stomach stayed fairly small. I think I felt them so much because they didn't have a bunch of space and fluid. If is very normal to only feel the baby sometimes though when you are 23 weeks esp. if this is your first. The important thing is heart rate and if your dr has not been concerned and you 20week US was fine then I wouldn't worry at all. ↑
im 22w 5d and i feel the same way. sometimes i worry (it's my 2nd pregnancy) but it's ok.
sometimes you feel em alot, and sometimes you dont. There are some days where i dont feel her but maybe 3 times total. i move her and move her and nothing. Of course there are those days when i feel her ALL day long, it wont stop no matter what i do or what position im in....so dont worry. ↑ |
I'm 27 weeks and I can feel him like CRAZY he kicks so hard it wakes me up out of a dead sleep.
And when I was 23 weeks I would feel him move every once in a while sometimes I wouldnt feel him for a day or two.
