OK I AM 20 WEEKS LMP AND 18 WEEKS FROM CONCEPTION. I KNOW I SHOULD KNOW THIS BUT I AM SOOOO CONFUSED.

YALL ARE GOING TO THINK I AM RETARTED BUT HERE GOES...

HOW MANY MONTHS SHOULD I TELL PEOPLE I AM INSTEAD OF TELLING THEM HOW MANY WEEKES I AM? ↓

I never do months because 40 weeks is really 10 months and folks never get it (including me) I say 5 months and I am due in march and people look at me like I can't count LOL. I jsut say 18.5 weeks and so on ↑

I'm two weeks into my seventh month, so technically I think I'm suppose to tell ppl I'm six and a half months. But this makes me feel cheated of my time, so I just say that I'm 29 weeks, or that I'm two weeks into my seventh month...I can't wait til I'm just able to say "I'm due any day" and take all the confusion away! ↑

I KNOW WITH MY FIRST THEY TOLD ME I WAS 4 MONTHS AND THATS ALL, THERE WAS NOT LMP OR CONCEPTION DATES, I WAS 4 MONTHS AND THATS WHAT I WENT BY...NOW ITS LIKE AAAAHHHH BUT I AM JUST GOING TO SAY I AM 5 MONTHS AND THATS ALL....

I HEAR YOU ABOUT WANTING TO SAY I AM DUE ANYDAY. I LOVE BEING PREGNANT BUT I CAN NOT WAIT TO MEET HIM OR HER....

I read the trimesters are broken down in 3 months

First Trimester- week 1-12( 1 to 3 month)
Second Trimester-week 13-28(4 to 7 months)
Third Trimester 29-40(8 to 10 months)

Those numbers will be a little different on different website, but it is a ruff idea. ↑

I go by how many weeks I am..LOL!! to me it is easier than gettin funny looks ...LOL ↑

If I went from my LMP I would be 22 weeks. But when I had my first ultrasound @10 weeks I was acuallty 8 weeks. So I am only 20 weeks now. Hope this helps.
An ultrasound really can help out with the date, but either way you can have it 2 weeks before or 1 week after the due date. ↑

I stick with the weeks too, because it is easy to see I am 21 weeks instead of 5 months and 6 days pregnant. ↑

My friend is so cute. She was saying she was 5 months and i was like no you are not because I am 5 months (she is 3-4 weeks ahead of me) we counted by 4 week increments. She was happy because she jsut got bumped a month, but now I am unsure if I was right??/ Oh well like I said I am sticking with the weeks until I can say any day now LOL ↑
