Megan started getting contractions 7 mins apart yesterday! i dont have a complete update as we are both in the hospital. last i talked to her she had been given pain meds and her contractions were 1-2 mins apart, but her cervix wasnt dialating! but macie should be here today!

They are fantastic at the Mater, i had Oliver there on the 28th May..i had the best midwifes they were just fantastic! So supportive and they really listen to how you want things to go too...i ended up being induced as Olivia was 10 days overdue. I had an epidural before they induced me lol...as they did the drip in teh arm to get my contractions going and i got told it was better to have the epi first! It was an enjoyable labour as i could not feel a thing!

| me too - do you work at the mater? DR forde said she would let me go 12 days over - but that would be a sunday - would they do it on a weekday? hopefully they will induce me 2 weeks today if she has not already come. do they induce on weekends/ ↑ |

yeah i work at the Mater, well not right now going back in Aug! lol..they do booked inductions on the weekend sometimes, mainly on saturday nights but not sundays...You can really push for it if you dont want to wait lol...but it is up to you and your ob. I went in on a sunday night with pains and they waited till monday to induce me.
But if 12 days over falls on a weekend they will probs do it at 10days over to be safe. ↑ |

| well fingers crossed they will do the 10 days so that is 2 weeks today - Max! still feels like a long way off! and to make it better we are also moving house on the 30th! so I am also trying to pack and arrange everything! total nightmare! ↑ |
