This is hell!
I have contractions that are around two minutes apart and have been in the hospital for the past 36 hours.
Here's the story..
I started having contractions that were about 7-8 minutes apart and went to my OB to get checked out to see if this was going to be the real thing or another dud. Well, she checked me out and said to go hom until the contractions were about 4 minutes apart and to the go to the hospital which she felt would probably be at about 1am. Well it happened earlier than that so I left and went to the hospital around 10pm. By then My contractins were 4 minutes apart and my mucus plug had fallen completely out an hour before that. So for a little over 24 hours I went with having contractions to were they were 2 minutes apart and I was and am still exhausted. They had given me pain medications to see if it would stop the contractions becaus my cervix hadnt made any progress with the cotractions and it did not. So I was sent home this afternoon because he said I was in labor but he needed me to get rest and relax so that maybe my cervix would catch up with my contractions. I am on more pain meds right now to help me get rest because the doctor said she would be here with in the next 24 to 48 hours and that I am not getting any sleep in the hospital.
I dont know why they didnt give me something to move along my cervix but I am just hoping that this is all for the best because I am still in a lot of pain. So, no baby yet but this weekend looks good. ↓
