Hey you all,
I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading what everyone has said. Like most of you, I find myself in a similar predicament. I am almost three weeks late, and I am very regular, so this is a concern for me. Sometimes I feel pregnant, and sometimes I don’t. I’ve been getting a few headaches, I feel nauseous sometimes (not everyday), I’ve had cramps like I’m going to start my period…then nothing happens, my hair seems to have grown pretty quickly since my last haircut, and I feel like my pants are a little tighter around the waist. Of course all of these symptoms could be due to other factors…or I could just be imagining things. I’ve taken 4 PT, all of which have been negative. I’m scheduled to go to the doctor, so I guess I’ll see what’s going on with me! I don’t necessarily want to be pregnant right now because I just graduated from college and have started a new career. However, now that it’s become a possibly, I’m finding myself sorta liking the idea of a baby. I don’t want to talk to my fam or friends about this yet until I find out a definite answer, so I just needed some other people to vent to. ↑ |

| I HAVE A QUESTION AND HOPE YOU GUYS CAN HELP. THE LAST TIME I HAD MY PERIOD WAS JULY 21 EVER SINCE TIL NOW I HAVE NOT SEEN A SIGN OF MY PERIOD. | I too feel I am pregnant the only thing is that i have the IUD and my doctor refuses to do a blood test. I have all the symptoms but they say I can't be do to the fact I have an IUD. My home test was - but I still have symptoms and it's been three weeks now. I do have two kids so I know the symptoms what should I do any advice? ↑ |

| ello ladies, can anyone please shed some light on the last week and a half of darkness that ive been going throu, my cycle is 34 days my last period was the 28th aug 2006! i have been trying to concieve for the last 3 months,i did the deed on the 10th,12th,14,18th sept as i was due to ovulate around the 16th but doing the early ones incase i were to ovulate early,anyway i were due on the 1st oct but it never came, althou i felt that it was on the way..from the day i was due on ive been feeling funny,my belly has been bloated and i feel full, im going to the toilet alot more ive had sleepless nights with nw what i know is heartburn ive been feelin qweezy althou not been sick,my breasts are not sore but they tend to itch abit,ive had a dull achey discomfort on my left side above the pubic bone which makes my left leg tingle, also since ive been due on ive felt quite moist below having some watery white discharge, yesterday 11th oct at 11 days late i did a hpt which was neg! if i am having these symtoms and not come on yet wouldnt the test of come out positive if i wsa pregnant????? im so confused, any advice would be appreciated ladies????? ↑ |

| I would wait Until your next cycle is due then try again but I would still make an apt to see your doctor just in case some people never get a + on hpt so request a blood test. ↑ |

I feel the same as all of you. I am now 8 days late for my period. I am usually on a regular cycle 28 days and have never been late. However, my fiancé and I had unprotected sex the day before and the day of my ovulation date. So, of course when I didn’t start I suspected I was indeed pregnant. Last week when my period was due I felt queasy and vomited one day 2x. I had some lower back pain. I went to my doctor when I was two days late and I took a urine/blood test both came back negative.. I am going back tomorrow for another blood test and I have an appt. with my obgyn on Monday. I feel no symptoms anymore and I really don’t believe I’m pregnant. I’m not sure what else could be wrong?
Ladies, I love to hear everyone’s story but the thing that is so frustrating is seldom of you ladies writes back and lets us know your results. I would love to hear a reply from anyone in the same situation that I am in. Good or Bad. Thanks

| Hi everyone.I'm a new member and my name is Aira and I'm 17 anyways I have been having pregnancy symptoms such as frequent headaches, backaches,sore breasts that are getting bigger also getting more little bumps around them and slightly getting darker with more viens visible,I have never been one to have acne that bad at all even when my period was getting close and now its bad,I have abdominal pains once and a while.I had unprotected sex with my fiance on Sept.27 which was the day 11 of my cycle.I am just confused because I took a pregnancy test today 2 days before my period with one of the tests that are suppose to tell you up to 5 days before your missed period but alot of people has been telling me my hcg probably just ain't high enough to detect yet.Also normally befor my period every month I get really horrible pms and its only 2 days before my period as I said before and I haven't had no pms symptoms what so ever.My mom and sister both think I am pregnant my mom had 4 kids and my sister had 3 but idk what do you guys think? | Hi Ladies! Here's my update!!! I went to the Doctors on Monday for a blood test (quant.) I also started what I thought was my period, but it was SUPER light and has now gone. I got my results on Tuesday, Dr. said negative but Hcg was level 2. I've been reading EVERYWHERE and Hcg is only in women that are pregnant. They say that anything under 5 is negative but I think that's because Hcg is still present in women that have had m/c, abortions, or recently given birth, or are taking Hcg treatments. I'm none of these, i've never been pregnant. So why would I have ANY Hcg at ALL??? I'm wondering if Monday's spotting was implantation bleeding. I ovulated on the 25th of Sept. I think. Me and my Fiance made love on the 23rd and 27th. But Monday would've been the normal day for AF to start, but I didn't have the usual BAAAAD cramps that i'm used to... Think i might be preg!!! I'm going to wait a couple weeks for another test (EXPENSIVE)!!! ↑ |

| Hey Sexy, I think you might be preg!! The little bumps around the nipples, Mongomery's Glands they are called. That is a sign!! I think it might be too early to feel any tingly feelings in the abdominal area, but everyone is different, every body responds differently to pregnancy. But the one symptom that seems to be universal are the breast changes... Everybody ovulates at different times, the 14 day rule for a 28 day cycle is just the average. If you fall within this range you may very well be pregnant based on the timing alone. If you had unprotected sex on the 11th day of your cycle, sperm can live for up to 48 hours-or longer!!! (where they sit patiently waiting for an egg). I've spent so much frickin' money on pregnancy tests... I recommend getting a blood test taken. I've heard of several women not even testing positive on a HPT till they were 10 weeks!!! You don't want to wait that long to find out you're pregnant : ) Good Luck!!! ↑ |

My sister actually didn't have a positive test until she was almost 3 months pregnant. So yes it is possible. A home pregnancy test only detect HCG in your urine once the HCG level reaches a certain point where as the blood test actually measure the level of HCG. Most of the time a doctor will not give a blood test until you are at least 2 weeks late unless of course you have had a positive HPT.

There is a really good chance that you probably are pregnant. I would wait a couple of day and take a HPT. If the test come back positive your HCG level will be way above 5. I believe it neeed to be something like 25 or 50 (I can't remember which) in order for you to have a positve HPT. And they are alot cheaper then going to the doctor to have a blood test, although the blood test is more likely to be accurate. ↑ |

| ello ladies,its nice to know im not on my own,but the torment we are going through is so unfair,the women who take for granted having children should feel blessed! anyway guys now coming to the end of day 13!! been getting backache since yesterday..and who was it tat mentioned the bumps around the nipple? ive noticed that ive got some and there not just pimples either...so maybe...i went to doc who told me that alot of women dont get a positive untill after 2 weeks late so ive to do another test next week and see what it brings but the heartache of another negative test is not something i enjoy....i would of thought tha if a woman was getting some symptoms that the test would show positive??? if any of you have any thoughts on this i would love to hear them?????? good luck to all!! ↑ |

The bumps that some of you are seeing on the areola part are called Montgomery Glands and should be there. They are always there but on most women they are unnoticable but often do became more prominent during pregnancy. They can even on some women appear white. Make sure not to squeeze them since they are not acne and can become infected.
It is possible to have pregnancy symptom and still not be pregnant, especially if you have been trying to concieve for sometime and . Because you want to be pregnant you can actually convience yourself that this time is it only to end up being disappointed in the end. I know, I had been trying to concieve my second child for over a year only to be diagnose with Secondary Infertility. With the help of fertility drugs I am now 26 weeks and 5 day pregnant with a little girl. ↑ |

Did any of your ladies notice discharge when you became pregnant? I’ve been having discharge off and on - it is almost like water - no color or texture and no smell.
Did all of you ladies have tender breast when you found out that you were expecting? I have experienced no breast tenderness and now 9 days late ↑ |

Hey Ladies,
I haven’t had any noticeable “pregnancy” symptoms lately except lower back pain…no period either. I will be 4 weeks late on Monday. Usually around this time I would start to get bloated and develop acne; however, I don’t feel like I’m going to start my period anytime soon. I’m scheduled to go to the doctor on Tuesday, and I will keep you all updated.

| Some women will experience some sort of symptom when they are pregnant while others may not. With my son I was became sick almost immediately. I took a test on Sunday and the next day I felt like I had the flu. My breast never hurt. With my currant pregnancy I actually felt ill before I was ever due for my period, but because I was not late I just assumed that I was coming down with something. My breast did start to hurt also almost immediately. With both of my pregnancy I experience extreme heartburn but with my currant pregnancy I have it so bad that it actually hurts. Frequent urination and fatigue are also common symptom of pregnancy. ↑ |

I WENT TO DOC AND HE CONFIRMED I AM NOT PREGNANT. DID AN INTERNAL AND EVERYTHING. HE PRESCRIBE MED TO START MY PERIOD SO I CAN THEN START TRYING AGAIN. WISH ME LUCK AS I AM LOOSING MY MIND. Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and once again I tested negative for pregnancy. Which by now I didn't suspect that I was - no symptoms. But I wanted to know what else was wrong with me. Unfortunately, the doctor told me not to worry about not starting my period. She was not going to worry about it until six months of no period. Can you believe that? I have always been regular and don’t understand why now I am not starting. She thinks my period should could in a few more weeks.
One thing I forgot to mention was that I stopped my birth control the month before – she said my body is trying to get use to working with the hormones. Has this happened to anyone and how long did it take for your AF to come? ↑ |

| hey up ladies!!!! well its now been just over 7 weeks since my last period!!! my heartburn seems to be lifting which is good,means im sleeping abit better! although im still getting a none odour watery discharge almost every day and my breasts are bigger also noticed ive got a few like white heads on the ickle spots around the nipple? my belly is bloated making me feel full when ive not eaten and im still getting the slight achey feeling on my left side??? ive got a appointment at the doc next mon 23rd so going to do another test on te sun if that happens to be neg i hope he will do a blood test, because i feel that something is going on in there....kvilla3, my sister was on the pill and when she came off it took her about 5 months to get her cycle back so its something for you to think about hun, waiting to hear your news from the docs kels????? ↑ |

Go get yourself a different doctor. There is absolutely no reason as to why you should have to wait 6 months in hopes to get your period. There should be no reason why your doctor shouldn't do further investigation. The first time I became irregular and missed my period it turned out that I had ovarian cysts, later on it was confirmed that I also had endometriosis. When I was trying to concieve with my second child we found out that I had started to ovulate later and later in my cycle and sometime I didn't ovulate at all. My new OB diagnose me with Secondary Infertility. Are you trying to concieve? If you are switch doctors. It is true that you period after coming off of birth control can be irregular but again there is no reason as to why you should have to wait 6 whole months until she will become concerned.

| Hey ladies, I went to the doctor today and had a urine test done, which thankfully came back negative. I'm to take a progesterone hormone replacement for ten days, and it should start my period. However, if this doesn't work, then I have to go back to the doctor. I guess I have no other choice other than to wait and see what happens! ↑ |

| hiya ladies..hope your all well has anyone had any good news?? the story so far with me is it would of been 8 weeks since my last period tomorrow however i started spotting or what i beleive to be it started on thursday afternoon i noticed when i went to the toilet and wiped it were a brownish colour ( sorry) this was 12pm i then wore a pad thinking my period was about to start although when i do get my periods they just come so i thought it was strange especially having no pain or even a little twinge! anyway i had no showing on the pad only when i visted the toilet and again wiped this went on till i went to bed then fri it was the same but i noticed that there were also some blood not a great amount at all but it were there when i wiped.now today i still dont feel any pain my tummy is not sore nothing i wouldnt even know it was there if i didnt check when going to the toilet, now i am noticeing its more blood then brown although its also brown still not a great amount but the size of a 1 penny, i dont know what tot hink my last period was the 28th aug was due on the 30th sept and had nothing till thurs 20th??? im going to see the doc on mon but does anyone think that this could just be a light late period or do you think i shou;ld take a test?? has anyone ever had this and can women be pregnant and still bleed with no pains??? please feel free to add any advice or help. thanks ↑ |

Hi to all of the beautiful women in this forum,
My husband and I are wanting to fall pregnant. The last day of my prev period was on the 2 Oct, and we tried on 12th, 15th and 16th and my cycle is 29 days. I am heartbroken when getting negative after urine tests, but then again it is probably too early. I feel that I may be pregnant, but I have thought that before and been disappointed. I have headaches (trust me on that), Over the last week I have been very tired and it is obvious, I have felt naucius (not all the time, but every day or two, some days worse than others), an unsettled stomach (bowel a bit funny), occassion pain on the right and left side (just inside the hip), slight pain in my lower back, and some pain in my breast. Now, although I have these 'symptoms' I am hoping that I am not feeling them because I want to be pregnant (I hope I am not imagining them or making something out of nothing other than being sick). I might be able to say that the back pain is from my chair, the headache is not from wearing glasses at the moment... It is so painful waiting. When should a Home Preg Test work reliably? And is there anyone else out there who wants to fall pregnant and has gone through the disappointment of not falling pregnant when they want to... what can I do to get my mind of it? It is starting to consume my thoughts. How have you gotten over the disappointment?
Oh yeah... my stomach has felt tights and my breast get sore on and off, not all the time.
I appreciate any comments or help.
