i am being taking birth control pills for long time and I have 2 kids,but I did stop taking pills in middle september and had my period in the end of September...We are in November now and I did not have a period from that time.Yes ,I did 2 pregnancy test and it was a negative.I should do a blood test ,A? it is been too long.I am just 33.What else it could be? ↑ |

Hello All,
I am on the pill, and I missed one pill and the next day took 2 pills to compensate, My husband and I had intercourse a few hours before I missed my pill. I did not start my period at all. It has been over a week since I should have started. I took two home pregnancy tests..both negative. I went to the doctor today and another negative test. I am supposed to go back in a week to take a blood test. I have never missed a period or been more than a few days late, even when I mess up on taking my pills correctly. Is it really possible that I could be pregnant????? Anyone have input on this??? ↑ |

hi everyone,
I have been taking birth control pills for a few years now and have just stopped taking them the begining of nov. I had my last period the end of nov. but havent had one in over 2 months now, I've takin 3 pregnancy tests, since missing the first period, all have been negative. My periods before this have all been regular. I've been getting cramps, nausea as well, Im also tired all the time. Is it possible i could be pregnant even tho the tests were negative? ↑ |

A few weeks after my Dec 08 period my breast became sore to the touch. At 4 weeks i started with nausea and tender breast. on Jan 12 i got what i thought was my period but it was only a few hours. the sore breast and nausea continued then started to get mild cramping with everything else. I was sensitive to smells and didn’t want to eat. I have also been emotional with crying . the past 4 days the nausea has gotten worse again almost to the point of vomiting. last night it was really bad. I have been getting tiered quickly I used to have problems sleeping and only slept for 6 hours now I fall asleep fast and sleep for 9-10 hours. My head is in a bit of a fog lately forgetting little things to do. My temp has gone up. I have had cravings but never satisfied with what I eat. I’ve been dizzy/lightheaded. I have taken HPT and they have been neg. I know something is going on and i feel pregnant, my boyfriend thinks I am pregnant and is shocked that the test came out negative. I am supposed to get my period on Jan 9 if what I had last month for a few hours was my period.
I have done a lot of research and there have been women that get what they think is their period for a few hours or a day and test come out neg and 4 months later it comes out positive and they have been pregnant the whole time. How is this possible? Low hCG levels can cause a miscarriage.
I'm confused at first i was freaking out about possibly being pregnant then when i got my what seem to be period for a few hours then i was really upset that i wasn’t and i cried. as the symptoms continued sincea before Jan 12 I think I am. Frustrated with the test scared thinking it could be something else wrong with me. all the symptoms i plug into the computer come out with pregnancy. PMS does not last a month and a half all day every day. Any advice? anyone go through this? ↑ |

| Hello. :) I'm now two days late and have taken one negative home pregnancy test. I've been feeling really fatigued a lot of the time, have been having terrible headaches, have been urinating quite frequently, and have had a really heavy flow of milky white discharge for the past three days or more. Could I still be pregnant despite my negative test? Should I wait a couple more days and take another one? I'm so on edge here, and I'm trying not to just set myself up for disappointment, but it's so hard not to hope! ↑ |

Hello all,
I am in the process of pulling the strands of my hair as I attempt to figure out whether or not I am pregnant. I have all of the symptoms with the exception of: Implantation bleeding, nausea/vomiting, sore breasts, and headaches.
I took a home test today, and it was negative, My last menstruation was early by 10 days, and I have yet to see it since January 21st. I am just constantly tired, hungry, and with slight cramping in my abdomen. I was on Ortho-Lo, and then stopped taking it since I couldnt afford it anymore as of 12/26, the last day of the cycle before the early one. As of now, I have discharge that is white (too much info, huh?) and I have even more cramping and insomnia.
Is it possible to still be pregnant under these conditions? If so, when should I retest?

| I am 19 and I have had 2 misscarriages when I was younger. I am currently 2 and a half weeks late. I been feeling nausea, headaches, back pain, stomach pain around my belly button, and cramps but no period. I took a pregnancy test today it came out negative. My breasts are sore and swollen plus I have gained weight I look kinda pregnant like I did before. SOmeone please help I need to know I feel pregnant too. Im scared and worried and hopeful. | Did you take a HPT with the first pee of the morning? A HCG blood test is the most sensitive test and it tests for quantity, if you are pregnant then your quantity will be over 500 even though it's just been a couple of weeks. ↑ |

| I've been suffering from all the early symptoms of pregnancy for about a week now. I was supposed to get my period on May 24. I had 2 days of bleeding about 5 days after that. I'm confused because it could have been a late period, but it happened at the time I think I would get implantation bleeding (about 6 or 7 days after possible conception). I have fairly regular periods so being 5 days late was strange enough. It only lasting 2 days was even weirder. I took a home test last night and it turned up negative. The more I read, though, the more I think it's still possible for me to be pregnant. Do you think I just took the test too soon? It's only been about 12 or 13 days. Maybe I'm just being hopeful. ↑ |

| I was 1 month late for my period, took 5 test about 2 days apart they all came back negative, 2 weeks last i had a light period so i never went to my doctors 8 months later i had gained 15 lbs, never thought anything of it missed another period so i took another pregnancy test negative again 4 wks later went into the hospital dueto the pain i was in only to find out that i was in labour and was going to have a baby anytime, 2 hours later i had my beautiful son 8'4, now im in the same situation again 4 yrs later, i am one month late for my period have taken 4 pregnancy test all negative, so needless to say im going to my doctors next week cus i just have that feeling that im pregnant this time ↑ |

| Hi just thought that i should mention that am now 30 weeks pregnant,i still had my monthly periods that only lasted 2days then at 24 weeks they suddently stopped. All my pregnancy tests have allways been tested negative.i dont have much symptoms except backache and sore breasts now and again.My bump is only small considering am 30 weeks but its still noticeable. | I really wish I could trust all the test that are out there but I just can't. I have taken so many tests and they all came back negative. Even the blood test said negative but after a few weeks of some lower abdomen paid I went to the doctor and did a urine test and a blood test and they still came bake negative, my doctor did a full exam and told I lost the baby. My mom and my sister were the same way they never tested positive for any test but they were prego. I didn't know I could be this mad. ↑ |

The past week Ive been reading this forum religously. My husband & I were ttc for a couple months, my period was late and my breasts so sore & heavy.
I took a First Response hpt on the 3rd day of my missed period - "Not Pregnant" :-(
9th day of missed period, Clear Blue hpt - "+" YAY!!!! :-)
Just not enough hormones in my body I suppose when I took the first test.
If you feel pregnant (an are pretty sure that you are not creating symptoms because of your desire to be pregnant), then wait and take another test. ↑ |
