Hi everyone,
I am in the same boat as a lot of you ladies. My LMP ws October 8th and I took 2 pregnancy tests 2 weeks ago and both were negative. I have symptoms of being pregnant: last few days I have been sick to my tummy, had awful heartburn on and off, food aversions; I don't feel bloated but I pee all the time; my breasts are larger and the nipples VERY sensitive to even cloth; a dull ache around my belly button; moodiness. I miscarried Mother's Day of this year and my periods picked up and were steady after until I missed one in November.
I am not sure what is wrong with me and I am worried. I am afraid to go to the doctor's because I am in a new town. My body is giving all the signs of being pregnant, but I don't feel bloated so I am not sure what is going on. Any ideas? Any words of support for someone who is completely lost and scared? Hi.
This month I was late for my period so I took 2 pregnancy tests at home and they both came positive. So I decided to go to the doctors and then it was also positive but then they did a blood test and it was negitive and I am cramping and bleeding like a period but its not heavy like usual.. Does this mean I'm not pregnant? ↑ |

I am in the same boat you are in i was supposed to get my period Nov 15th at the latest and still nothing. My last period was Oct. 15 I took 2 tests and they are negative. My breasts are sore I have cramping and am so tired i dont want to even get up in the morning. I am going to the docotor thursday. Yes, I did on my second pregnancy, which now I am 23 weeks.
You may find that if you are infact pregnant, these tests you are using pick up HCG in your blood.
Your levels of HCG may be low, which is nothing to worry about as I have had quite a few friends who were preganant and have healthy happy babies, who couldn't get a positive result from these tests and had to have bloods done numerous times to get their result.
I would advise to go to an obstetrician if you havent already and dave a good chat to them over these concerns. ↑ |

| Hi just writing to say no im not pregnant. I went and had a scan today and unfortunatly it shows that my ovaries dont look normal. They have many small folicles on them which can cause my period stopping and infertility. Has ne1 been thru this. Im so devastated to hear tht its a high chance tht i mite neva get pregnant naturally and im only 19. Plz help i feel like im falling apart. Hi Nikki,
I just read this forum today, and wanted to say that I'm sorry for your results. My husband and I tried for a very long time (in fact never used protection for over 5 years, but weren't trying all that time), and never got pregnant. We went and saw an infertility specialists and I went on clomid. The clomid combined with IUI worked the 2nd time, and we are blessed with 18 month old twins! Does it matter to me that we didn't have them 'naturally'? Of course not. I'm just writing to let you know that there are lots of medical advancements for infertility treatments, they make miracles happen. I suggest that you request to get on a list for a infertility specialist, as they usually have a very long waiting list, and they can tell you the many many things that they can do to help people get pregant. I also know of a friend of mine who was told it was unlikely she would ever conceive because of ovary problems, she conceived very quickly while being on clomid. Keep positive, it will happen for you one day. You have youth on your side :)

| I had a negative test, but then they gave me a blood test...I was in the ER sick ans wanted to know if I was before they gave me all this medicine. I was really early in my pregnancy and you might be too and that is why it is not showing up. Hope this helps. ↑ |

| You can only get pregnant when you're ovulating because that is when an egg is there to be fertilized.. however sperm can last a few days inside of you so if you had sex a couple days before you ovulated it's possible to get pregnant. ↑ |

| mine showed negative june 25th. I went on with life, drank, partied, drank, drank, drank, more parties. by the 29th I felt like I was going crazy for no reason-I started yelling at cops-(don't ask) I just felt completely different. took a test negative. I didn't really think i was pregnant, i was on the pill anyway, but my doc changed it in may. just thought "maybe" ya know. Well july 4th i got invited to huge 4th of july bashes. All my friends were going to be there, then my parents wanted me with them, then work wanted me to go with them and I was like "wow guys i'm soooooo like sooooo tired." I went home got in my 4th of july party clothes, put all the make up on, did my hair looked great!!! And then walked into my bed room to grab some shoes and literally collapsed on my bed, everything went blank-I was so tired. Just like that. Blank, like I was just trippin' off something crazy. I woke up the next day- rolled over and threw my hand down and said really loud to the white ceiling above "I need to by yougurt, I am so pregnant. The baby needs yougurt." called in sick to work, went to walmart bought like 3 cartons of yougurt, milk, and things I sometimes have to force myself to eat but now desire-stopped by the pharmacy picked up 1st response test like before-went home ate tons of yougurt and took the test. -postive! tokk another test, POSTIVE. took amother test POSTIVE. LOL! Called the doc, took another test postive-made her take my blood b/c i couldn't believe it Postive-she said I was like a month along! Stupid pregnancy test before never even showed I was! It was 1st responible-that crappy test didn't detect anything. Thats the story of two negative tests before 5 positive test-when your preggy-you will just know-at least I did. ↑ |

| Nikki, you're not a failure. I know it is hard to hear at times that you are not 'perfect', as everyone wants to be perfectly healthy. Being a mom is MUCH more than being able to get pregnant. Being a mom is what happens after you have your baby! Until then you're a mom to be :) Trust me, it doesn't matter to me or my husband one little bit that our babies weren't made without assistance of the drug, what matters is that they were made because we absolutely wanted them and they were made from our love. Who cares about the drug, it is MUCH more common than you would ever know. It is frustrating when you are trying to get pregnant and it doesn't work for you easily, but I don't feel like any less of a woman because I had to take drugs, I feel like Superwoman because I'm the mom of the two most wonderful little girls that I've ever met. I'm absolutely grateful for the advances in medicine to allow me to have these gifts. You'll have to pick yourself up, allow yourself time to grieve over this situation, and then pick yourself up and consider yourself extremely lucky that you are not struck with a disease that is incurable and that there are options for you to still be a mom.
