Good morning girls, yesturday Monday I had my appointment, we heard the heartbeat for the first time, it took him a while to find it, he said the baby was moving around, because he would find the heartbeat one minute and then then next second it was not there. It took him a few minutes to find it and that was making me nervous. But when he did find it, it was amazing!!!!!! he said it was going strong and like the last ultrasound at 167 bpm.

My husband and I are so excited!!!!!!!

Now 11 weeks preggers.

OH great!!!! THat is what I am looking forward to, also.
I think I will register at babies r us!!!
were are you registered at??? any other ideas on other stores I can register?

Name: jillw | Date: Feb 13th, 2007 10:56 AM
I reg. at target, bu tonly for a few things. I think that for the most part babies r us is way over priced. Plus when it is for a baby I don't really think that it is that important to register. I mean honestly we need everything :) We bought her crib and dresser, but that is pretty much it. we are going to wait until after the shower to get everything else that we need. I didn't want people to feel restricted to what was on the reg. list ya know.

I am fortunate that my brother gave me my nephews craddle, basinet, changer, high chair and playpen. The craddle he barely used it cause they bought him another one, this is the one that can be converted into a twin bed in the future. Really nice one to!!!!
That way my husband and I can safe a lot of money...

we got a really good deal on her crib it is one of those 4 in 1 cribs that goes into a toddler bed a day bed and a full size bed also. We paid 150.00 on sale at K Mart and it is really nice. as for a dresser we jsut bought one of those kind that you have to put together and it is mostly MDF w/ a laminate not real wood. It was only 100.00. My cus saved lots of her baby clothes form her daughter that she is going to give me too so that will help out. Plus we have really nice second hand shops here were there are new baby clothes for dirt cheep. Beside all of that she is my parents first grand daughter so I don't think we will have an issue at all with her getting everything she could need :)

I cant wait until I can feel it moving but I asked my doctor when does he think I will feel the baby moving, he said for first time moms, usually between 20-24 weeks. So I have ways to go yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the heart beat means nothing LOL MY sons was always high and and my daughters was pretty high too. Go figure LOL I think that most moms get a gut feeling. I knew I was having a boy even though the US tec told me that he was a girl. I even got girl stuff at my baby shower LOL WIth this baby I just knew it was a girl. It was something I could just feel ya know

Jill, the weird thing is my first pregnancy, I had dreams it was a girl.
But with this pregnancy I have yet to have dreams about the baby. No clue. I dont have that maternal feeling of boy or girl yet. :o(

Cool Logan!!! You are getting very close to 2nd trimester. I felt my kid first when I was about 17 weeks, and it got stronger and clearer each week. I also wanted a girl so badly, and now I've got a boy. What made me excited about it was how proud I was to give my husband a son! (like Henry the 8th - lol) Now when he behave badly I tell him to show respect since I'm carying the fututre "Irvin" of the family heheh...He says he likes to hear me talking like that :)
