Hey ladies!!!!!! Guess what?!?!??!?!
I was supposed to start today or tomorrow, but I haven't been cramping...except for the lil round last weekend.
So, I was in there getting ready to take a bath, started my water, and decided, what the hell, i'll take a test. There was one lonely one left under the counter, so i got it out, peed on it, then set it on the back of the toilet while i got my towel and stuff out of the close....i turn around just as the screens are coloring,....and there's a + sign!!!!!!
My dh didn't trust one, so we drove 15 miles to town...in the 8 inches of snow that's on the ground right now to buy another box. Came home peed on another and there was ANOTHER + sign!!!!!!!!!
Since last month's period was so short...and I tested negative......we're thinking maybe I got pregnant after the "miscarriage" and I just tested too soon or something last month, because last month's test was a -.....
So, if I conceived last month, I'll be due around mid-to-late-October...if i conceived this month, I'll be due on/around November 12
I guess it's true that once you stop trying...it happens...and my fortune cookie was right lol

| I called my mom, she's ECSTATIC, and is calling in a favor at her dr's office so I can get in either Monday or Tuesday instead of having to wait 2-3 weeks up here. That way I can at least get the blood test to confirm it. Although I'm pretty sure that the 5 hpts i've taken aren't wrong lol ↑ |

14 inches wow!!! It hardly ever snows where i live (wiltshire, England) If it does it's only slushy snow, or a slight dusting

Since my period was messed up last month, I'm not for sure on the conception date.
Is there anything other than a pelvic exam that will tell how far i am cuz i'm just going to my general dr this week? ((I can't get into the ob/gyn for 4 more weeks, my family dr has to do bloodwork then refer me to the ob for my insurance to kick in the maternity benefits)) ↑ |

My ob did an ultrasound at my first appointment to determine how far along I was. I know they can confirm a pregnancy through a pelvic exam, but I don't know that they can determine how far you are that way, they did measurements on the ultrasound and that's what determined my due date.
I just looked back through the posts and it was on Feb 10th that you posted about your miscarriage so I would say you are somewhere around a month depending on how long you waited to have sex after that happened. ↑ |

yeah that's what i'm figuring, unless i didn't miscarry. i posted on one of those that the dr never did an ultrasound, but listened for a heartbeat THRU my stomach and said he couldn't find one, so i miscarried.
But then that doesn't explain the negative test last month.

| I forgot how the doctor checked for a heartbeat through your stomach, that was insane. I had to wait 3 weeks for my first appointment after I got a positive at home and I had no idea how far I was. I had a period July 8, 2007 and didn't have one in Aug. so I took a test and it was neg. and then Sept. my husband suggested I was so I took a test really doubting it would be positive and sure enough it was. I didn't know if I conceived in July or August so the wait to know was killing me. Time will hopeflly fly by so you can get into your ob. :-) ↑ |

| A pregnancy can infact be confirmed by a pelvic exam and yes some dr.'s can tell you around how many weeks you are by this exam give or take a week or two......w/ my second i had a pelvic exam before my ultrasound and she said i was around 6 wks and then i had my ultrasound and was 8 wks...so like i said give or take two weeks.........ultrasounds are the most conclusive results! ↑ |

| well, i went to my family dr today, and he told me that i DID conceive in january, so I'm 8 weeks and 1 day!!!!!!! YAY!!! My due date is October 16 ↑ |
