Kaden is furniture walking. I was always so happy that he was not starting to stand up and move around like all the other babies and then yesterday he pulled himself up with the excersaucer. About 2 hours ago he pulled himself up on the coffee table and after wiping out a bunch of times, he learned how to go sideways and now he can go from couch to coffee table to couch. Yikes. He is going to be walking soon :|

YEah how exciting. Now start putting his ass on the potty so you don't have to buy dipers for two :)

Hahaha I hope he's easy to potty train. He hates being wet. I'm glad he will be definitely walking before the baby gets here. I was kind of worried about that because until yesterday he showed no interest. He was super happy to just crawl and he doesn't even get into stuff that's not for him very often.

That's awesome! :-) He's going to start giving you a run for your money now that he's can move around more. Have fun!!! :-)

If he doesn't like being wet then maybe that will get him going.

8months? thats awsome randi! Just watch he is gunna start climbing stuff real soon. When they walk earily the don't ahve fear of getting hurt and will do anything! Jeremiah used to push his little ride and oush fire truck to the microwave stand . Slimb on to the stand then on to the counter top then on to the top of the microwave to open the cubbord and get out snacks. He was fearless! He also crawled to the top of a 7ft book shelf and started tossing down books. He was only about 10 or 11 months. SO you'll have your hands full real soon.

Yeah Jill, he's 8.5 months. We had to switch some furniture around our house this weekend because he started climbing on top of a little shelf. He is having some pretty bad wipe outs though : |

That is one of the bad things about them learning to pull themselves up and trying to walk---my lil guy has had sooo many "wipe outs" the past month....and his poor head, he bumps it on EVERYTHING! :(

gah i know what you mean!! evey learned how to sit up, crawl pull herself up on furniture AND cruise all in the same week. and boy has she suffered some bumps and bruises. once she face planted with a nuk in her mouth and she had a bruise in the shape of a pacifier all around her mouth lol

Thankfully Kaden has only had one actual bruise from all his falling...

Poor Kaden....well I guess that's why god made babies squishey with flexable bones LOL He knew they were gunna take some falls. Hell these days kids have it easy think about the old times when kids had to learn to walk w/o carpet and padding LOL
