My mam has only ever babysat for Joey overnight once, and when she did she complained at me about how early Joey wakes up (7am) She thinks it's too early, and compared with my nephew (who lives with her) it is.

My nephew doesn't go to bed till 10 or 11 at night, and then sleeps till around 9 or 10 the next morning.

Whereas Joey goes to his cot at 8 in the evening, and then sleeps till 7 the next morning. My mam thinks that's madness, that we should be able to get a lie in at weekends etc, and it put her off babysitting for him overnight again.

Is it? What time do your kids go to bed and get up at?

but lately, he has been getting up quite a few times during the night! its driving me nuts but i think he has more teeth coming in!

Izzy goes to bed whenever she is tired.... between 7 - 9 and it doesnt matter what time she goes to bed she still wakes at 6:30am hahaha.... i WISH she woke at 7 !!! now that is a sleep in.
All babies are different, you cant really compare them lol. they all have different routenes etc.

Kids under 6 years old need at least 12 hours of sleep a night. You are doing just fine with the schedule you have established.I try to get my son in bed by 8 but it never works so hopefully as he gets older I can get him in bed earlier. So ask your mom to deal with it or make other arrangements with babysitting.

Gabs goes to sleep by 8pm and is up by 7am

charlie doesnt have much of a schedule he usually is asleep by 10-ish and up (for good) by 7 am...but he is only 3 months so he sleeps alot still.

i thik your schedule is fine, its a little selfish of your mom to think you should get to sleep in. you dont get to do that once you have children. and i know its better for me to get that little tiome of night while the kids are asleep to just relax a bit. beats sleeping in anyday

Its funny you should ask this because usually Christian goes to sleep around 8pm 8:30 the latest but last night was a short battle, lol.

But between 8pm 8:30pm and he was up between 6:30am and 7am.

I think Joey had a very good sleeping pattern and your needs to know that.

My boy is only 5 months but he goes to bed at 10:30-11 pm.... I think it's late, but if I put him down any earlier he thinks it's just a nap.
