I'm only 10-weeks gone so this is very premature. I was speaking with my fiancé yesterday evening and asked when he wanted to start preparing for the baby. i.e. getting a nursery ready etc. He said we shouldn't do anything till the Summer, and I think that's SO far away, especially as I'm due in September ... When did you first buy that first little item for your baby? ↓

I JUST BOUGHT THE STROLLER AND CRIB AND I WAS WELL INTO MY 6TH MONTH. I ALSO HAD MY BABY SHOWER THAT GOT ME ALOT AND I WAS 8 MONTHS WHEN I HAD MY SHOWER. I WILL START GETTING THE REST OF STUFF THAT I NEED PROB THIS WEEKEND. NO NEED TO RUSH I DIDNT BUY ANYTHING TILL I WAS 6 MONTHS. ↑

Well I can say for me that any time that I talked about buying baby things it made my husband nervous even now I am 36 weeks and my B-Showers is the 24th! but I have 2 kids and one on the way and as a sign of good luck I bought each of the kids a gift set as soon as I reached 12 weeks and I waited to buy anything else until I knew the sex of my baby around 20-24 weeks! ↑

I could not wait but if you are having a baby shower don't buy much i started at week 17 i think but i just got the baby book and a few things i knew i wanted to pick out because you never get what;s on your list they pick what they want and then you gotta run to all the stores and exchange if your picky like me anyway ↑

alot of the big stuff was bought for me at my baby shower and I was glad i waited to buy the crib and stroller and playpen and swing I mean i did take some back and get what i wanted but i didn't have to buy it myself and alot of the store don't give you mmoney you can spend it in the store and it is hard to find alot in just one store you want ↑

I bought the stroller, pack and play and swing at about 16 weeks. Probably could have waited on the stroller and pack and play as I haven't used them yet.

As far as the nursery goes, I waited till the last minute and was just putting the finished touches on the day before I was induced, lol. But, I always put everything off till the last minute. ↑
