In my 3D scan, my son was breech. I know I'm only 27-weeks, so he has time to rotate. But does anyone know when he will turn head down in preparation for the birth?

You don't really need to worry until about 37 weeks. Some babies just don't. My son was turned by my OB at 35, 37 and a little turn at 39 weeks... I still ended up with a c section. He was flipping around untl he was born. That is rare though... 27 weeks is really early.. I think they start around 34. I can't remember : (

When I was at the doc's last week the nurse told me her head was down.

She put her hand down to feel for the head and it hurt like shit. I wanted to kill her.

But I was Almost 30 weeks when that happened.

I know she's come out though...but I'm pretty sure she's back in. Or so I hope.

I want her out. I'm sick of getting an all over belly stitch from walking :'[ ]

Yeah I wouldn't worry. You do have at least 10 weeks left. Your baby is still pretty small and has lots of room to flip around. Even if you do have to have a c section, they are not that bad. I was very happy to end up having one and I would again in a second. I was up moving around and had no trouble at all. You can't see my scar and my baby arrived into the world safe and sound. He wouldn't have without the c section.

Oh yeah. If I needed a C-section, I wouldn't hesitate. I've just heard so much bad things like having to be resting for a month, and having a bad scar etc ... But it's cool that you can't see yours.

Yeah I know I'm fretting too early. Btw do any of your babies prefer one side of you to the other? My son seems to live mostly on my right side. He's always kicking there, never my left!

lol yup.. my RIGHT side gets all the kicks.. i have never felt a movement on my left side..

my babies head is down.. her bum is in the front where my belly button is.. and her legs seem to hang on my right side LOL.. so i always have this little foot poking out.

My son always was on my right side. He never went to my left. He had his head in my ribs the whole time.

They used to cut up and across. Now they do a bikini cut. It is below your bikini line. You will only see it if you are not wearing anything and mine has faded so much in 6 months. I was completely pain free by day 5 after I had my section. You are not supposed to lift more than 25 lbs, but I was completely fine.

It depends on how big your baby is, and how much room you have. Josh was stuck head down at 20 weeks. He was engaged by 24, and didn't budge. By 29 he was trying to escape, and I had him at 35.

They wont worry until about 37 weeks, and will talk about doing an external version at that point. Doesn't happen very often though.
