Okay well I know some of you may automaticly think hernia or hemmeroid (whatever they're called) but I can assure you it's not. But my butt hurts. Or well maybe not specificly my butt. It feels more like inbetween my butt and vagina. Could even be up in my vagina. All I know is there is a pain there. More so when I strain (aka - pee or poop). Is this normal. Does it mean something is going on (in a good way hopefully) that has to do with upcoming labor? I was 1cm 50% -2 last time I was checked a week ago. I am hoping this recent pain means it's opening more lol. Can anyone help? ↓

I thought in one of my "signs of early labor" charts in one of the books I read that it said something about pain in that area... ↑
I hope so. My stupid doctor wouldnt check me today because I wasnt 39 weeks yet. When last week the other (4 doctors total there) doctor checked me and said it would be weekly after that. GRR I was dying to know if it was different, but he wouldnt do it! ↑
What? UGH. Mine started asking at 36 weeks if I wanted to be checked but I didn't get checked til 39 weeks cuz I don't like unnecessary hands up my hoo hoo. At 39 and 40 - nothing happening. Going again tomorrow (I'll be 40w6) so let's hope for at least 1cm people. I mean c'mon already. :) ↑
marti i cant wait til you gointo labor so we can all know if your having a girl or boy!!! do you have names picked out? ↑
Well I was very surprised to hear of my 1cm... since I was only 37 weeks. I was anxiously awaiting being checked today because I wanted to know if it had changed at all. I figured finding that out would tell me if that 1cm had just happened or if it happened a while back. BUT NO - stupid doctor. On the bright side - he was optomistic about maybe inducing me if my cervix has changed for the better next week. I just have to be a good convincer. ↑
Ian for a boy and probably Hope for a girl. Or Lauren. We can't decide. I'm excited to find out too and get some pink or blue in the closet. Although it has been fun not knowing. :)
Soon2b...get your convincing skills sharpened up!!! ↑ |
why do you want to be induced s2bm? ↑
Well, I had been considering castor oil (not asking for opinions here just making a statement lol)- just because of the fact that I usually have constant diarrhea anyway. But I havent tried it yet because it magicly went away as soon as I bought the castor oil. Imagine that. I work so backwards - normal people get diarrhea before labor, obviously I am going to get constipated ↑
i like your names marti... ↑
Because I am unable to stand for more than 5 minutes without EXTREME back pain. I am talking I have to lay down in a certain position for at least an hour before I feel better. I can't go anywhere, I might as well be on bedrest. I also get really bad pains in my stomach and legs when I am up for a long time. ↑
oh..yeah..id want to be induced too ↑
But like I said he was optomistic. I dont know how long it takes to set up an induction - but I will be 39 weeks (my appointment is next wednesday). Hopefully, in no more than a week and a half I will be a mommy ↑
Ugh soon2b, that would suck. I am only uncomfortable if I am on the couch or in bed for too long. Otherwise I feel way too good to be this pregnant. My doc is all about inducing and wants to induce me on Monday but consideirng I'm fine - unless we're at the two week point or close to it where there could be a risk for baby., I'm okay to wait. My husband is getting antsy though and wants us to tell the doc tmw to induce now :) ↑
Also at night (which i am sure this is a common pregnant thing) I have to sleep on my back with my legs bent up or I cant sleep at all. Partially because of the back pain I have been having. ↑
And another reason (which isnt too good of a reason) is because I am becoming IMPATIENT! I am good at doing that. I just want to see her! She's done cooking as far as im concerned lol. ↑
Oh that's no fun. I had excruciating rib pain for all of the second trimester and early into the third. And I sit at a desk all day and hte only time the ribs really hurt was when I was sitting down. That sucked. Now I have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel so all of my fingers except my pinkies are tingly and "asleep" all of the time.IT SUCKS but it's my only complaint really. Next to your pain, I'd sound like a wuss complaining :)
Danese - arent you due in July right? ↑ |
I am sure your pain is close to mine though. I can't imagine the crawly ant feeling on my fingers 24/7. How in the world can you type! ↑
Typing is not fun. It's only when I try to use my hands that I can feel the tingliness. I tried to put together a baby toy the other day but couldn't manage the screwdriver. And I tried to open a granola bar wrapper earlier and it took me FIVE minutes. It doesn't hurt but is so dang annoying. They say the only fix is to delivery the darn baby but I guess even then a small percentage of women don't lose the carpal tunnel. I better not be in that group! ↑
A summer baby. Exciting :) ↑
good luck with that marti!! ↑
yeah she is due on my birthday ↑
Oh well ladies have fun chatting on here. Im off to the kitched to find some munchies. Have a good night! ↑
anywho i am going to go lay down now...cause i am getting sleepy...you all have a nice night ↑
