Well I am only 9 weeks pregnant and have be feeling really good. I do have some symptons-tired,REALLY sore breast, mild cramping/pulling in m pelivc region.
Do you have any of those?

You lucky girl you! 20% of pregnant women experience no pregnancy discomfort throughout their pregnancy. Guess you're one of the lucky few. If you want to get rid of some of that worry, rent a doppler. Then you can listen to your baby's heartbeat more often and take comfort in that.

No, that's pretty much the norm for us preggies - worry, worry, worry! I rented a fetal doppler and that has been a huge help.

I remember worrying so much during my first trimester about my little one being alright that I'd send myself into a panic attack and end up in the emergency room... time after time.

You will hear people tell you to relax and don't worry so much that it will start making you mad. How can you possibly relax and not worry? Why does it take FOREVER for my next appointment to get here? Sound familiar?

The best advice I can give you is just to find something to make the time pass, even if it's taking naps constantly. I took up playing Sudoku and playing Pokemon on my husband's gameboy. (Shhhh, don't tell anyone I actually enjoy it.)

I know where you're coming from, Munira. There were times when I just couldn't watch that ultrasound screen for long enough and really wanted to know if I could take one home with me. Pray for patience, and in a couple more weeks you should start feeling some kicks and flutters going on in your tummy. That's your baby's first way of saying, "Be cool, Momma. I'm fine"

I would recommend renting a fetal heart monitor off the internet. I know that I've recommended this to other girls, but when you hear your baby's heartbeat everyday, it tends to ease your worries a bit. There's times that I don't feel pg, and I'm nearly 20 weeks along. Is this your first pregnancy? It's mine, and I've realized there's always going to be something to worry about with the baby so you have to try and relax. Of course anything we say isn't going to be of much reassurance.

I agree with Petrona you lucky girl. I am 16 weeks and had extremely bad morning sickness up until just last week. Now my hips hurt like there is no tomorrow.

With my first one I had morning sickness as well but it ended at 12 weeks and my hips didn't start to hurt until closer to the end of my pregnancy. But I was worried all the time expecially during my first trimester since this is the most crucial time. You can purchase or rent a fetal heart monitor which might help relieve your worry. But I am sure that as soon as you start showing and you start to feel your baby move (if you haven't already, most women start to feel their baby move at about 16 weeks) you'll feel more pregnant and less worried. I can't say that your going to be worried free because regardless of whether this is your first or your second or even third or fourth we all have our worries.

Thank you all very much for your support. I will rent a doppler because i think it will put my mind at easy. But i dont know if i can rent one here in Paris.

Connie
Yes i had similar symtons as yourself but that was the first month but know i feel tired from time to time and nothing else.

Ladyblueblood:
I actually work 6days a week and i'm very busy most of the time but i quess when your head wants to worry it always finds time.

Kristy84:
Yes Kristy84 this is my first pregnancy but the thing is i got a miscarriage six months before this pregnancy so the memory of the last one is still fresh. And guess that is why i'm so worried.

Well i'm going tomorrow for my prenatal appointment and i will ask my midwife if she can tell me where to rent a doppler.
I hope all will be well with me and the baby.

Funny thing is i only feel pregnant when i'm full because my tummy looks bigger but i never know whether its the food or the pregnancy.

I wish you all ladys a happy weeks and good health

Oh thats right I forgot you were in Paris... hmmm I dont know then.... I know my old one had a french name "bebe"!!!! I am sure they have them somewhere!!!!

Munira,
don't buy a "bebe" monitor or anyone that you get off the shelves. They are horrible, and many women will attest to that!! If you go to babybeats.com, they ship internationally, but it's $20 US. It's worth it though.

I got mine from a garage sale and worked perfect had no problom with it at all... maybe it was just how she was laying all the time though.

I am currently 11 weeks and I feel no difference either. I had my first Ultrasound at 8 weeks and heard the heartbeat, so I know he/she is in there! hehe. But yes, I do feel the same too sometimes. I try and not worry about it to much, it can cause to much stress for one (or your significant other) to handle on top of the pregnancy. I am sure you are OK. =-) Hang in there....

Also I heard at 12 weeks when you placenta takes over, you feel like "yourself" again. That could be what is happening. Not for long .. though. *wink*

Hello Ladies,
I have just come back from my prenatal test and i heard my little ones heart. The midwife say all is well but i as i have done my blood test today to see the baby is normal (downsyndrome test) i guess i will be more relax if i dont receive a phone call from the midwife in ten days.
As for the doppler i have asked my sister who is in NY to get me one as she is coming next week.
HOW IS EVERYONE ELSE DOING?

congrats on the good prenatal test, and don't worry about down syndrom:)
