welp i went today my doctor wasnt there b.c he had to go deliver someones baby, but the nurse (the one i like) did check me and all that. I am 50% effaced, just at 2cm dialated (i made her double check for my sanity haha) my uterus is measuring at 41 weeks still... and baby braden has indeed dropped. she found it odd also b.c he is still way up in my ribs but his head was indeeed down there and low ready to come out. she said do whatever i can do try and induce labor on my own. my appt is monday morning at 915 to be rechecked and from there be sent to the hospital for the start of induction induction or just the pitocin to speed things up and start contractions.. but hopefully i go on my own :-D ↓

Yay for you!! I had a feeling that things were starting to move along for you. I suggest lots of walking and moving furniture! That's what did it for me i think.
So does this mean you don't need to go in the night before induction? They shouldn't have to put anything on your cervix now. If you're not contracting by then they should just start the pitocin. ↑ |

| well if you're already 2cm dilated, then I'm guessing you're going to go soon...I was 80% effaced and 1.5 cm dilated...the day after my appt. I started early labor and had Harper...I seriously think that the exam had something to do w/ it; like her fingers all up in there helped me out, and since Scott isn't here sex is out of the question, so at least you got some cervical stimulation. I had sex that night and sex that morning and bam i dilated to 3.5 in 18 hours...so anyways..enough rambling...braden will be here soon ↑ |

| well they wont do the night before b.c it'd be a sunday, she said come in monday we'll recheck u and we'll either send you that morning to start everything up or we'll wait til later that evening .. she said it all depends on my cervix LOL.. she said i could use castor oil, she used it for hers, shes been a lamaze and birthing coach for over 10 yrs, she has nothing against it. i said no thanks lol .. she kept to keep using the primrose, go walking, orgasming, yadi yada. ↑ |

| yes im happy scott will be here friday.. she said the primrose oil has the same effect as sperm. the sex thing is just for the sperm and orgasm not the actually entering the vagina. she said masterbate if you can that those contractions will help too just as if it were me having sex. ↑ |

| no she is just the nurse. she felt around in there, and i have to admit that was the first time it didnt effin hurt for someone to be prodding inside me lol .. she was helping me with breathing to be more relaxed and not tense. ↑ |

| Well like Kristy said, even just the little bit of poking and prodding that you got may help. It might be too soon, but have you had any spotting since the appt.? And I never had discomfort being checked, and when I had my membranes stripped it didn't hurt at all. My doctor was like - are you sure you don't feel anything? Then she said that I was going to do well with labor. Yeah right! After 12 hours I was begging for that epidural!! ↑ |

| Oh i hate being checked. It sucks. It's so uncomfortable. Last week my doc was like BREATHE MARTI, BREATHE. I was so tense. Get your fist out of my hoo hoo. Ha ha ha. Coart - I'll find out Thursday if they are going to recommend induction for me on the big april 23!!!! We'll see. I'd rather go at my own like you but good lord - still nothing happening and my docs don't like patients to go much past 10 days (even if hte due date is whack) :).... ↑ |

| jenifer, im not taking it orally i took it once vaginally. so I dont think the oil really had anything to do with anything.. i havent had any spotting or pink show or anything (even after being checked ive never had any blood or anything). she also said the reason i didnt notice the plug is b.c it can disenegrate and what not up there. i got the primrose gel tabs from cvs, just the pharmacy over the counter. uhm what else was asked -scrolls down- ive been trying to do it on my own damnit, i did it twice last night.. but ur arm cramps up trying to reach down there! thankfully piercing is a guide and sort of helps haha.. and marti .. BREATHE haha .. goodluck thursday i hope both our little ones come on their own, we'll see though. ↑ |

| coart personal question, do you and your hubby have sex during your cycle? the reason i ask is the last part of your pregnancy when it's all sore down there can be soothed a little from sex, at least i thought so, i always like sex when i'm on my cycle it helps w/ my crotch pains ↑ |

| if you get induced dummy u have to have the pitocin lol and if im not progressing quick enough pitocin will be given .. so regardless ill be getting that damn pitocin drip .. its doing the pitocin and getting the epi too early that can prolong labor.. im gonna be holding out on the damn epidural b.c of that reason ↑ |
