| telling ur parents is hard...im 19 to and i already have my own house, cars, and a job and even though i dont live with my parents it was styll very hard to tell them. But i told them anyway..i suggest telling the parent u are the closest to first...make sure that the both of u are at a place where u can talk without being disrupted and where u have time to talk..be honest with them bkuz lying will get u caught up and will only get them mad...also its always aplus to feed into their ego and let them know that wat u did was a result in being irresponsible and that u understand the consequences of ur actions..ask them for their help and input and tell them how u styll plan on making a good future for yourself...but most of all remember getting pregnant is taking a step into womanhood so show them u understand this by acting mature in the conversation , if u act like a kid they will treat u like one and wont respect wat u have to say.....good luck girl ↑ |

| Hey Kaitlynx, well first off all its been a really long time since you have had your period so you should probably go and take a pregnancy test. A normal cycle for a period is 28 days which means you should have gotten your period around the first week in December. If the test comes back negative and you still think that you are pregnant then I would take another test. Some ways to receive an accurate results to a test is to use first morning urine because it contains a high concentration of hCG (the hormone that is present in your urine when you become pregnant), check the expiration date of the test, and dont drink a bunch of fluids before the test because that can dilute your level of the hCG hormone and can altar your results. | Hi, Im 17 and I'm a senior in highschool, I will be going to a university in the fall of 2009 and although I seem young I feel myself wanting to get pregnant. I have had so many pregnancy scares in the past with my boyfriend that now I just seem to wonder what would happen if a test ever came out positive. I know that I would be mostly a single parent because my boyfriend is in the military and will be away for months at a time but even that factor doesnt change my mind because I know that my parents would at first be upset but would eventually agree to support me and the baby. | Hi I'm Ashley. I'm 17 years old, and I wanted to get all of your advice to whether you think I am pregnant or not. I had sex 8 days ago, and my period is irregular so it's kind of hard to know exactly when it is. But its been a month since my last one, so I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. We used protection (condom) when we had sex, but my boyfriend told me it had been in his wallet for a few weeks. It didn't break but I'm still kind of scared. Thanks for the help. ↑ |

I've got a question, I've been noticing all these changed with myself, and thought I was pregnant, but I took a test today and it was neg. But on the other side my 'missed' period should be here the 19th, so it was probably too soon to take a test, correct? I mean I know at 5 days before your missed period tests are hardly 50% accurate. So mine was probably only 15% accurate and I took it at night. But let me list my feelings, my nipples are always red and hurt when touched, I pee a lot, I feel tired most of the time, I've got more so of an appetite, I'm bloated, my stomach hurts when I lay on it or press on it, and I feel queasy sometimes.
Someone tell me if that does not sound like pregnancy, plus it can't be post menstrual, that starts like a week away from your period and this has been going on for almost 2 weeks now. Oh and yes I've had unprotected sex, and sex with condoms with my boyfriend of course. But, I've noticed that I think it gets out of the condom anyways, honestly. ↑ |
