Hello everyone,

I'm starting this campaign to save the animated series for
pre-schoolers called "Ellen's Acres." I learned about this fabulous
show from a good friend of mine. She kept telling me how her toddlers
eyes were glued to the television watching a new program called
"Ellen's Acres." Unfortunately now, my friend has to explain why it
has been taken off the air after two short weeks by Cartoon Network.

"Ellen's Acres" is like "Eloise at the Plaza" set in a motel.
Five-year-old Ellen lives in a hotel that her parents own outside of
Tonapah, Nevada. Since there aren't a lot of kids her age around to
play with, Ellen makes up all kinds of imaginary adventures with the
help of her feather duster and radial tire, which turn into different,
magical objects. The show features the first young, hip parents to
appear in a children's animated series. Ellen's dad is a former
professional skateboarder and her mom is a lawyer and his manager. The
show is a celebration of play and creativity. Ellen does a great job
role modeling creativity for kids.

Read my blog to learn more about my campaign. There you will find
information about how you can help and there are banners you can post
as well. http://acre35.wordpress.com/

Hello,
I think thats the show my children were telling me about too. Its sad that the really good shows get canceled. I hope you can bring it back.

Thanks so much momoffour. I couldn't agree with you more it is sad. Show's don't even get a chance now a days to find an audience. A quality program like this should get a second chance. There are few shows that encourage imagination and creativity like Ellen's Acres. Even fewer where parents and children can sit down together and enjoy.

If you love the show and your kids would like to see it come back I would encourage you to watch the show here:

If you have friends or your kids have friends who love the show I would encourage them to go that link as well. I think that is the best for getting this show back. Because it will prove that people miss Ellen's Acres.

Thanks again for your message.

This is great! My nephew was very disappointed when Ellen's Acres wasn't airing anymore. I wish there were more shows like this and I don't normally watch children's shows. I happened to watch and episode or two, just to see why my nephew liked the show so much. I was pleasantly suprised at how Ellen's Acres mixes fun and education in a way that is appealing to parents and kids.

Only thing is I went to that blog and there was nothing there. I had to search for other information and, fortunately, Cartoon Newtork is webcasting the program on their website. Broadcasting the show on their channel would be better, but I can still watch the episodes there at least.

If anyone wants to watch the show here's the link:
