Name: Lizzi [ Original Post ] O.k.,my son who's 15 is having acne troubles. His face isn't too bad but his forehead is grossly covered,it looks pretty disgusting actually! We have tried everything from the acne pads to Proactive with NO LUCK!!! There has GOT TO BE SOMETHING that WORKS!!!!!! Please help!!! ↓

Haven't you tried the Dermalogica stuff yet Lizzi? At that age, it's also caused by hormones - he'll grow out of it, but the Dermalogica products really work - they're not harsh, but cleanse and calm the skin really well. ↑

Is that something that has to be dr. prescribed? I'm worried that this acne is going to leave scars it looks so bad! I feel sorry for the kid,it's awful! I want his dr. to refer us to a dermatologist so maybe they can help him. ↑

No, it's not prescribed. I buy it from my local beauty therapy centre. If the acne is really bad then perhaps a Dermatologist might be an option. ↑

I had really bad ance when i was his age,the doctor gave me a drug called roactine and it cleared it up withen 4 months and it never came back! ↑

try ACUTANE. it can only be given to you by a dermatologist, but is a really good acne medication. ↑
