| those are common symptoms of menengitis (especially the stiff neck), but i highly doubt your doctor could have missed that. mention it to them, and ask them to test her ↑ |

| There are two physical signs which you can easily test for when suspecting meningitis. The first is to try to get the person to touch their chest with their chin. They should be able to do this. The second is to try to raise the knee up towards the chest. They should be able to do this also. If she is unable to do either or both of these things then perhaps you should contact the doctor again. Please try to remember that the flu is a nasty illness and isn't just a cold. People with the flu often feel like they're dying and feel very unwell. Your daughters symptoms could indeed be the flu, so try not to panic. ↑ |

| My ex took our daughter to the dr. for some of the same symptoms and they kept sending her home with " the flu". The last time he took her he told them to do blood work, turns out her kidneys were failing.There are many things that could cause this to happen, so be sure the doctors do a thorough exam ↑ |
