| hey tiffany u are not alone i am goig though the same thing,but i am 5 months pregnant i was with my baby daddy up to the point i moved to cali me n my mother. you see i was living in texas when i got pregnant i told him i was moving he said he will be outh here wen he get his income taxes... when i made it to cali we would talk ever day until he stop calling and pickin up my calls, so i no something was up, so i got in contact with his ex girlfriend, i thought it was his ex but she told me something diff. so i was hurt by it and the next day i after i talked to his ex he want to get in contact with me he never was coming out here so i am a single mother. I am happy that it all happen before my baby got here but i have a lot of help i am 19 still at home with my mother n looking for work,but i will make it just like u and every other single mother will. | Hey, my name is LeeAnn im 19 soon to be 20 and 39 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. i understand alot of ya and can feel ya pain.. ive been off nd on with my boyfriend for 3 years at the beginning of our relationship and pregnancy he was the best man you can imagine always so involved and catering to me. We moved in together,and he was working hard for our family , bt that soon changed. At around 5 months he became distant. I had no one to talk to so when he came home it was the highlight of my day bt little by little he stopped coming home after work. he stayed out with his friends or come home eat shower and leave right after. I complained but it was like talking to the wall. Soon we decided to move in with his family for about a month to save up for a better place... but 1 month turned into 2, 2 months turned into 3 and next thing you knw it became about 4 months we stayed there. i hated it, i felt so uncomfortable and stayed locked up in the room all day. Till one day i got tired of always being alone and stuck in that house that i pack my things and moved with my mom. She very supportive of me and does what she can for me and the baby but i know i cant stay here long. its like im stuck right now tho and i dont wanna take advantage of her so at this point i really dnt know what i am going to do and with the babys arrival right around the corner is even more difficult to say.... Ladies, I too know how you all are feeling. I am a single father of a wonderful nine year old. Luckily, I have worked out all issues with his mom and now we share joint custody. I always thought that me being a really good dad, would help to find a partner. boy, was I wrong. Women want to share that with a man who hasn't gone through that. I guess it's like they think I won't be able to experience the bliss of having more children. Right now I am working on my Masters at FSU and the only advice I can give, Set up your's and your child's future. Work hard and smile!

| I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT LAST YEAR IN JAN. OF 10. AND WHEN I TOLD MY B.D (BABY DADDY) HE WAS SOOOO HAPPY! | Hi. I am a kinda a single mom. I have a son and am not with his dad, however i am getting married for the first time in july and thought oh man this is going to be nuts. I was going to school full time collecting unemployment..when all of a sudden my unemployment stoped and my family income just decreased by more than half. so I withdrew from school and was on the hunt for a full time job. I applied everywhere in my local towns and nothing...it was weeks. I decided to try the whole work from home thing. I was wripped off 130$ and was very irritated with it. My ffriend sold avon...not my cup of tea...just not me really but ok i will give it a shot. I started calling people randomly to want to see my book. I just looked thru the phone book and local numbers listed with females names...thats rediculous. I ended up calling a women that changed my life forever. hey im mia and im 18 . im a teen mom too i had my daughter when i was about 14 . shes 3 1/2 now . its hard raising a kid all alone. her father is almost 20 now and an unemploied high school dropout/ bully and a duch bag to say the least. he dose help and spend time with her but only when its to his benifit which is anoying but he is still her father and she diserves to know him.
raising a kid is hard nomatter how old you are but if you love your child then just remember that it does get easier and that in the end it will all be worth it. cherish the time you have with him while hes still little and a baby because time gose by fast and soon hell be going to school and hell grow up real fast and youll miss when he was a baby.
as fer the being single. most teen boys are scared of such a big commitment. and you really dont need a man to make you happy. but if you look around the right places youll meet some really great guys. try after school events ... sometimes its eaiser to meet someone from another school because they dont know your background then once you get to know them tall them bout your son. if they run in the other direction then there not worth it or you. sense getting pregnant i dated 4 guys . the one im with now is the one who stuck around the longest. and hes great with my daughter so trust me the right guy will come and he will be so worth the waite ↑ |

| I am 17 about to be 18 in a few days. I am 7 months pregnant and last month I found out my ex (the father of the baby) cheated on me. It really did hurt and sometimes I wonder why I deserved all of these bad things. I love my baby girl and I can't wait to have her in my arms but it does make me sad that I will not have anybody that loves me in the special way to hold my hand and be there through it all. Yes, I am glad the my ex is out of my life but there is a part of him that will always be with me....through the child we made. I am tired of being alone but I know that I have her. I know how you feel....it is hard...it does hurt...and some days you just don't think you can take it. Hopefully it will get better for all the single parents out there. ↑ |

| i was only 17 when i found out i was having my son i didnt have a place to stay i was off and on living at home and with my boyfriend at the times i throught i couldnt make it with out my sons dad but when he seen that he wasnt going to keep partying and hangging out with his friends everything being to change he left me and didnt want nothing to do with me and my son my family didnt really like that i was having a baby they want me to give him up i didnt have anyway of takking care of him or to get him wat he need so i mean i throught about it dnt get me wrong i love my son but some times u got to do wats best for your child as i was going place to place i stared to get more scared of havving him and if i could take care of him on march 11 i had my son 5weeks early with no one in the room with me i was so scard but when i saw his face i know i had to get it together and grow up for him im half done with skool i have a part time job and i do everything i can to take care of my son yea at times its hard cuz u dnt have someone with u but look at me im doing great i dnt need a guy for that u just have to keep your head up and show everyone and your sons that u will do wat ever it takes to make his life great ↑ |

| hii there..my name is linda..i hav a 2yr old son ill be 18 in july..what i would say to be honest is dont file for child support because automaticly the father will hav custody over yur son..i know i went threw it..nd i wish i never did..he makes minimum wage so what he gives me is crap nd he keeps over 80% of what he makes..going to court and all of that was an emotional wreck and tho it was nice having everyother weekend too myself the pain of not having my son was soo painfull..But if you can prove that yur babydaddy had a criminal record or is a danger for yur son he wont hav custody,,once again u need PROOF..i would also advise you to speak to a lawyer nd make a list of all the questions you have..i hope this helps best wishes linda[3 ↑ |
