Why are parents making their TEENAGE children pull their pants down to get spanked, let alone, put them over their knee? What is up with that? I am very confused. Please help me out. ↓

| I would think 15-18 yr old these days would just laugh in there parents faces. I think its wrong to spank your children- i know we all lose our cool somedays but come on- spanking a teenager- obviously doesn't work if you still continue to spank them 15 yr later. Just my opinion. ↑ |

| I agree spanking should stop at 13, but sometims is nessary to spank them like if they disobey you and do what you told them not to, if you have to spank them don't take their pants down, and spanking should stop at 18 for sure, I know when I was a teen I got a spanking at 19 and I left home and did not speak to my dad for a year. ↑ |

| I think it is a shame that we want to know if a child should be spanked past the age of 13. Heck yes. There is nothing I hate more than to see a child speak to a parent in a bad manner. If you don't spank early you need to spank late. But you need to spank. It is amazing how we can sit and ask the question and then turn the TV on and see children doing the things they do. Let get it right. The earlier generation had this right. You spank and you spank as much as needed. I remember being spanked by my neighbor and then sent home only to get spanked again because my mom was embarassed that the neighbor had to spank me. Now we are afraid that our sweet demon children might receive some horrible effect from being spanked. I not saying beat a child. I am say take time to cool down and spank the heck out of them. My child said the other day to a friend that she would not have sex with people because she is afraid of what I might do. This child is 16 going on 17. I was proud because she did not know I could hear her. I do not beleive that kids are suppose to think that they should be equal to parents ever. There should always be this awe about one's parents.
