I'm doing a special needs course at present, and although I have found lots of info about this, I would still like to know what it's like for a child with albinism at school every day and what their home life is like and had there to be any changes or modifications made to the home in ay way. I would appreciate any help, Thanks in advance

My son was born with Albinism. He just turned 1 in June. So I can't give you and knowledge about what it's like for him in school but I can tell you what it's like at home. He is a big healthy boy who is learning and developing at a very normal to above normal pace. He has only ever ran into something twice since he has been crawling. The ophthalmologist says right now he's probably seeing about 20/200. Which is great. This mind you is without correction yet. I have some other info that would help in a presentation format, regarding eye site in people with albinism so email me if you would like it. Or even if you have more questions.
